Distinct subgroups appeared among the patients along clinical, ethnic and socio-economic lines, necessitating differing modes of intervention. While the problems of providing mental health services in this major Canadian city are many and complex, the city has not experienced the same degree of inner deterioration and violence seen in many cities in the United States.read more
