The thermodynamic characteristics of tripotassium sodium uranyl tricarbonate
TLDR
The standard entropy of K 3 Na[UO 2 (CO 3 ) 3 ] at 298.15 K (-4001.0 ′ 8.5 kJ/mol) was determined by reaction calorimetry as mentioned in this paper.Abstract:
The standard enthalpy of formation of crystalline K 3 Na[UO 2 (CO 3 ) 3 ] at 298.15 K (-4001.0 ′ 8.5 kJ/mol) was determined by reaction calorimetry. The heat capacity of the compound was measured by adiabatic calorimetry overthe temperature range 8-560 K, and its thermodynamic functions were calculated. The standard entropy (-955.5 ′ 2.1 J/(mol K)) and Gibbs function of formation at 298.15 K (-3716.0 ′ 9.0 kJ/mol) were determined.read more

Fast nonlinear optical mechanism of photoconversion in systems of lyotropic ionic liquid crystals–viologen impurities
TL;DR: In this article, a nonlinear optical mechanism of reversible photoconversion between excited dimers and cation radicals, the reduction products of electrochromic molecules (viologens), in lyotropic ionic liquid crystals of metal alkanoates was studied.

Physicochemical investigation and thermodynamics of oxide compounds of uranium and phase for immobilization of radionuclides
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of investigating oxide compounds of uranium obtained in thermodynamic field over the past few years were presented, and several mathematical models having a predictive power and describing the behavior of compounds in precipitate-solution, crystal liquid and individual phase-solid solution systems were suggested.
