Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular braking control device capable of jointly using a regenerative brake and a friction brake for braking each wheel, and preventing degradation of the braking force and generation of the vibration and squeaking attributable to the rust by removing the rust generated on a disk rotor in an early stage. SOLUTION: The vehicular braking control device has an in-wheel motor and a friction brake on each wheel, and jointly uses the regenerative braking force by the in-wheel motor and the friction braking force by the friction brake in the braking mode. The pressing force of the friction brake against a disk rotor is detected, the torque to the wheels is obtained from the current of the in-wheel motor (Step 12), generation of the rust on the disk rotor is determined (Step 13) based on the pressing force and the torque detected in Step 12, provision of the braking force by the regenerative brake is stopped when it is determined in Step 13 that the rust is generated on the disk rotor, and the braking is preferentially performed by the friction brake (Step 14).
