A slotted waveguide array having a unique dual-slot configuration which significantly increases the bandwidth and scanning angle capability of a linear waveguide slot array. The pattern of the array sub-group has a null in the direction at which a grating lobe would normally occur. With the grating lobe suppressed in this manner, slot conductances are stable with frequency. The result is good pattern integrity and high antenna efficiency.read more
