Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption, autoinhibition and autocatalysis in polarography and in linear potential sweep voltammetry
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of a strong adsorption of the depolarizer and/or of the product of the electrochemical reaction on the currents obtained in polarography and in linear potential sweep voltammetry (l.p.s.v.) are considered.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrodimerization: I. One-electron irreversible dimerization. Diagnostic criteria and rate determination procedures for voltammetric studies
Journal ArticleDOI
Voltammetric behavior of nitrite ion on platinum in neutral and weakly acidic media.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrodimerization: VII. Electrode and solution electron transfers in the radical-substrate coupling mechanism. discriminative criteria from the other mechanisms in voltammetric studies (Linear sweep, rotating disc, polarography)
TL;DR: In this article, the interference of solution electron transfer, as well as electrode electron transfer in radical-substrate electrochemical coupling mechanisms is studied as a particular case of the e.c. vs. disproportionation problem.
Journal ArticleDOI
The general theory of polarographic kinetic currents
J. Koutecký,Jiří Koryta +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a unified mathematical formulation of the transport problem to the dropping electrode, accounting for diffusion, chemical reactions in solution and electrode reactions, is given, and the method for the reduction of the problem to a diffusion problem where the effect of chemical reactions is restricted to boundary conditions is described.
