With non-linear analysis, however, the dynamics of a server system may be analysed and taken care of by choosing the controller parameters appropriately.
Hence, this paper demonstrates how the remaining useful life of a machine can be increased by appropriate controller design without compromising performance.
With the mechanism, a controller can make load balancing decision locally as rapidly as possible.
A salient feature of our results, shown in the present paper, is that we can tell the users how to tune on-line the parameters of the controller with the proposed structure.
Implementation results demonstrate that a repetitive controller can be used in a plug in fashion to augment an existing controller.
It is demonstrated how the controller gains can be tailored systematically to the existing interconnection pattern within the overall system.
We show how the optimization of different elements within the overall controller can be addressed in an efficient fashion.
The performance of the controller is shown to be robust and comparable to that of a minimum-time optimal controller.
The results show that the proposed double-controller scheme is superior to a conventional single controller system.
