We show that the MAX effect is strongly dependent on investor sentiment and is mainly due to the poor performance of high MAX stocks rather than high returns of low MAX stocks.
Matrix extreme points are the strongest type of extreme point known to span matrix convex sets; however, they are not necessarily the smallest set which does so.
The results show that matrix complexity is not an outcome of program age, nor does matrix complexity at the time of implementation appear to influence program survival.

Comparison with the fastest known serial max-flow implementation on a modern CPU demonstrates for the first time potential for orders-of-magnitude performance improvement for Max-Flow.
It then decomposes the matrix computations into interdependent tasks and relies on the dynamic runtime system StarPU for asynchronous out-of-order scheduling, while allowing high user productivity.
We also demonstrate that this enables us to solve many important problems in the max algebra and the max-min-plus algebra such as matrix decompositions, construction of matrices with a given characteristic polynomial, state space transformations and the (minimal) state space realization problem.

What’s up with Requirements Engineering for Artificial Intelligence Systems?
5 answers
Requirements Engineering (RE) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems faces challenges due to limited adaptability of current RE practices for AI. Research emphasizes the necessity for new tools and techniques to support RE for AI, especially in areas like ethics, trust, and explainability. AI techniques, such as machine learning and genetic algorithms, are increasingly used to address scalability and automation issues in requirements prioritization. Natural Language Processing (NLP) plays a crucial role in automating RE tasks by analyzing requirements statements and converting them into representations for machine learning methods. The ethical implications of AI systems have gained significant attention, leading to the development of guidelines for trustworthy AI systems based on fundamental rights and ethical principles.
How does AI affects academic performance of Senior High School Students?

Is novelty seeking correlate with addictions ?
5 answers
Novelty seeking is a complex trait that plays a role in addiction vulnerability across species. Studies suggest that novelty seeking is a risk factor for addiction initiation and development, with mixed findings on its correlation with drug behaviors in rats. In humans, self-reported novelty-seeking traits align with novelty-seeking behavior in a laboratory setting, indicating a link between the two. Furthermore, neural circuitry studies show that exposure to novel environments activates shared brain regions associated with addiction maintenance, suggesting a potential connection between novelty seeking and addiction. However, in a study on rats, novelty seeking did not significantly correlate with other addiction-related traits like sensation-seeking or incentive salience attribution, highlighting the complexity of addiction vulnerability factors. Overall, while novelty seeking may not directly correlate with all aspects of addiction, it remains a relevant factor in understanding addiction susceptibility.
What are the benefits of warehouse management system in managing inventory?
5 answers
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) offer numerous benefits in managing inventory efficiently. They enable businesses to control warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and transportation management. Additionally, WMS can reduce the time required for inventory management tasks through the use of interconnected multi-robot systems. Moreover, a well-designed WMS allows for online order delivery for both in-person customers and online shoppers, enhancing customer service and satisfaction. Furthermore, WMS can optimize workflow, improve warehouse area optimization, and enhance the overall supply chain performance, leading to a more resource-efficient and dependable inventory management system.
Why having experienced respondents important in a research?
4 answers
Having experienced respondents in research is crucial as they can significantly impact data quality and study outcomes. Experienced respondents tend to exhibit lower error variance and employ simplifying strategies, enhancing the reliability of the collected data. Additionally, experienced respondents can provide valuable insights based on their past encounters, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the research topic. Furthermore, in studies involving proxy respondents, experienced participants can offer more accurate information, thereby enhancing the generalizability of the research findings. Overall, the involvement of experienced respondents enriches the research process, improves data quality, and increases the validity and reliability of the study results.
Is benefit finding a cognitive reappraisal?
4 answers
Benefit finding can be considered a form of cognitive reappraisal. Cognitive reappraisal involves altering the emotional impact of a situation by changing the way an individual thinks about it, which is also a key component of benefit finding interventions. While cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on correcting distorted thinking through realistic appraisal, benefit finding interventions emphasize positive reappraisals to discover benefits in challenging situations. Additionally, the ability to find humorous perspectives in adverse situations, a strategy related to cognitive reappraisal, can be beneficial for adaptive emotion regulation and well-being. Therefore, benefit finding interventions that encourage individuals to use cognitive reappraisal techniques to find positive implications in difficult circumstances align with the principles of cognitive reappraisal as a strategy for enhancing psychological functioning and well-being.
Is there any evidence that dogs prefer eating crunch food to soft food?
4 answers
Research on dog food preferences suggests that dogs may have a preference for crunchier food textures. Studies have shown that dogs' flavor preferences are influenced by odor, with methods like the false-bottom bowl paired comparison test being developed to evaluate the role of odor in food selection. Additionally, a modified 2-bowl test for evaluating food preferences in pet dogs revealed clear preferences among different food products, indicating that dogs typically consumed more of the food they chose first, suggesting a preference without needing to taste each option. Furthermore, a study combining food preference tests and food odor discrimination tasks demonstrated that dogs can discriminate products by olfaction, indicating the importance of odor in food preference. These findings collectively suggest that dogs may indeed show a preference for crunchier food textures over softer options.
How gender affect tourists destination choice?
5 answers
Gender plays a significant role in influencing tourists' destination choices. Studies have shown that both gender and age impact the selection of holiday destinations, with males and females emphasizing different factors when choosing a place to visit. Additionally, self-efficacy in tourist destinations varies between male and female tourists, especially among local visitors, where males tend to exhibit higher self-efficacy levels. Furthermore, research suggests that gender is a crucial factor in determining tourist destination trends, affecting subjectivity and the perception of destinations as a result of travelers' motives and experiences. Gender preferences also influence the decision-making process, with technology preferences and information search behaviors playing a role in destination selection. Overall, understanding gender differences is essential for tourism advertisers and destination promoters to tailor their strategies effectively.

What is the adventage and disadvantage of using liquid medium when micropropagate plants?
5 answers
Using a liquid medium for micropropagation of plants offers advantages such as increased multiplication rates, reduced medium costs, and better access to nutrients, leading to improved growth. This method also allows for better aeration to prevent issues like hyperhydricity and anoxia, promoting healthier plant growth. However, the initial setup cost of bioreactor systems can be a disadvantage due to their expense and limited availability. Despite the cost, low-cost bioreactor systems have been developed using recycled materials, proving effective for rapid plant propagation and reducing production costs. Overall, while liquid culture systems enhance plant propagation efficiency and nutrient uptake, the cost of implementation remains a key consideration for widespread adoption in micropropagation techniques.
