Abstract: By investigations in the systems Mg—Zn—P (As) we found two ternary phases of the formulas Mg₁, ₇₅Zn₁, ₂₅P₂ and Mg₂ZnAs₂, which crystallize in a trigonal lattice. We suppose a modified anti-La₂O₃-type structure.
