Abstract: A system for detecting the presence of objects lying within the blind-spot of the vehicle in which it is installed and which indicates the presence of the detected object(s) to the driver of the vehicle on a dashboard display. As well as the visual display the driver also receives an audible warning if there is an attempt to turn into the path of the detected object(s). The system provides information to the driver of the vehicle within the blind-spot to let them know that they have entered the blind-spot of the vehicle in which it is installed and also to warn them if the vehicle attempts to move across their path.

TL;DR: In this article, a device for the installation of an audio or video receiver in a motor vehicle is described, which is integrated into the armrest which can be folded in and out at the rear of the vehicle.
Abstract: A device (3) for the installation of an audio or video receiver (5) in a motor vehicle is described. Devices of this kind have to be accommodated in the motor vehicle at points at which, on the one hand, they do not constitute an impedance and, on the other hand, are easily accessible. The dashboard or control panel in motor vehicles is suitable for smaller devices such as car radios or car cassette players but provides too little space for larger devices such as for example CD changing devices or video devices. The device (3) according to the invention is integrated into the armrest (1) which can be folded in and out at the rear of the motor vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, a combiner of a head-up display and a simulated weapon operating member is provided in front of a seat of the vehicle, and displaying a breakdown state of the target by operating the operating member.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the game equipment for obtaining a sense for attacking a target from a moving vehicle by providing a combiner of a head-up display and a simulated weapon operating member in front of a seat of the vehicle, and displaying a break-down state of the target by operating the simulated weapon operating member. CONSTITUTION:In front of each seat 3, a score display part 7a, and an operating button 8 being a simulated weapon operating member are provided on an operating panel 7 of a dashboard 6. On the upper face of the dashboard 6, a combiner C of a head-up display H is inclined backward and provided. When a vehicle 2 runs and comes to a prescribed position, an output of a position detecting device 19 becomes an H1 level. When a boarding person pushes the operating button at a good timing in a prescribed position, a display information control part 12 displays a state that the above is broken down, and an explosion image by the head-up display H.

TL;DR: An automatic vehicle lighting system which operates a vehicles main headlamps (2) automatically in low levels of environmental light is designed to be incorporated into existing vehicle lighting systems and circuits as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: An automatic vehicle lighting system which operates a vehicles main headlamps (2) automatically in low levels of environmental light is designed to be incorporated into existing vehicle lighting systems and circuits. A light dependent resistor (1) in series with a relay (3) is exposed to environmental light as much as is possible. This could be in a recess in the bumper or bonnet of a vehicle (between the windscreen wipers) or centrally on the dashboard. As the environmental light level falls, the light dependent resistor conducts less current. Eventually relay (3) falls and the lights (2) are energised through contact (3E). The single pole switch (8) is intended to allow the driver to have the main lighting of a vehicle off whilst running the vehicle's engine at night.
