TL;DR: In this article, a flip-flop is initialized to a state which is a function of the state of the flipflop during the writing mode of operation, which is maintained in the absence of all applied power to the bistable electrical circuit.
Abstract: A bistable electrical circuit, such as a flip-flop, incorporating insulated-gate field-effect transistors as non-volatile memory elements. Read and write circuitry couple the memory elements to amplifying (switching) stages of the bistable circuit such that the state of the flip-flop, at the time a write signal is applied to the memory elements, is nonvolatilely stored. Upon application of a read signal the flip-flop is initialized to a state which is a function of the state of the flip-flop during the writing mode of operation. Data storage is maintained in the absence of all applied power to the bistable electrical circuit.

TL;DR: In this paper, the active portions of a magnetic circuit are formed of electrically isolated segments, each segment being electrically connected to a distinct portion of the electrical circuit such that when a voltage is impressed on the electrical circuits, a systematic and uniform progression of voltage is imposed on the magnetic circuit.
Abstract: An electrical induction apparatus, adaptable for use as a transformer or a reactor which contains a magnetic circuit and an electrical circuit. The active portions of the magnetic circuit are formed of electrically isolated segments, each segment being electrically connected to a distinct portion of the electrical circuit such that when a voltage is impressed on the electrical circuit a systematic and uniform progression of voltage is imposed on the magnetic circuit. The electrical isolation appearing between each segment of the magnetic circuit is coated with a material adapted to establish electric field boundaries between the segments and prevent the creation of high electrical stress points while also preventing excessive eddy current loses.

TL;DR: In this article, an electrical component impedance measuring device that is capable of measuring the impedance of a component permanently connected in an electrical circuit is described. But it is not shown how to measure the electrical component's impedance.
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an electrical component impedance measuring device that is capable of measuring the impedance of an electrical component permanently connected in an electrical circuit. It comprises a source of electrical energy with means coupled to this source for connecting the electrical component in circuit with the source. A split-magnetic core having an opening position therein is supported by means that position a lead from the electrical component through this opening with the lead carrying current that flows only through the electrical component whose impedance is to be measured. Means are coupled to the core for sensing and measuring the flux in this core.

TL;DR: In this article, an improved mathematical model for describing the photogenerated current in a radiated p-n junction described here falls into the second category and is intended for use in the Transient Radiation Analysis by Computer (TRAC) family of transient circuit analysis programs.
Abstract: Mathematical models of devices can generally be classified into one of two categories. The first model ip formulated on physical properties of the device through a series of complex equations dependent upon doping levels fabricating Processes, and geometry. The second model is formulated on the basis of an equivalent electrical circuit which simulates the observable electrical behavior. The improved mathematical model for describing the photogenerated current in a radiated p-n junction described here falls into the second category. and is intended for use in the Transient Radiation Analysis by Computer (TRAC) family of transient circuit analysis Programs.

TL;DR: In this paper, a warning system for vehicles such as automobiles and the like, to indicate when one of at least two lamps of the vehicle is inoperative, is presented, where a dual winding coil is disposed in separate circuits connecting a pair of electrical lamps to a source of electrical energy.
Abstract: A warning system for vehicles such as automobiles and the like, to indicate when one of at least two lamps of the vehicle is inoperative. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention a dual winding coil is disposed in separate circuits connecting a pair of electrical lamps to a source of electrical energy. One of the dual windings of the coil connected in one circuit creates an electromagnetic field and the other winding in the other circuit creates an electromagnetic field cancelling the first field. A warning device such as an indicator electrical bulb, for example, positioned proximate the operator of the vehicle, is connected to the source of electrical energy by a switching device disposed within the coil. The switching device comprises a pair of movable contact members normally maintained in open position and adapted to engage one another to connect the indicator bulb to the source of electrical energy in response to an electromagnetic field. Thus, when both lamps are operative the two electromagnetic fields cancel one another and the switching device remains open. When current flows through one winding of the coil changes due to a lamp failure, the electromagnetic field created by the remaining current flow closes the switching devices and thereby activates the warning device.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a CURVE-SHAPER CIRCUIT, which is used in conjunction with a VOLTAGE-DIVIDING ARRANGEMENT of resistors.
Abstract: A FUNCTION GENERATOR IN COMBINATION WITH THE NET OIL COMPUTER OF U.S. PATENT NO. 3,385,108. THE CHANGE IN AMPLITUDE OF THE VOLTAGE PRODUCED FROM A CAPACITANCE DEVICE IS NONLINEAR WITH A CHANGE IN THE RATIO OF CONSTITUENTS OF A FLUID MIXTURE. THE VOLTAGE IS AMPLIFIED BY A CURVE-SHAPER CIRCUIT COMPRISED OF A VOLTAGE-DIVIDING ARRANGEMENT OF RESISTORS THROUGH WHICH THE VOLTAGE IS APPLIED TO BIAS THE BASES OF A PLURALITY OF TRANSISTORS. SLOPE POTENTIOMETERS ACTING THROUGH AN OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER FOR INCREMENTS OF THE INPUT CURVE CONTROL THE RATIO BETWEEN THE VOLTAGE INPUT DUE TO THE CAPACITANCE DEVICE AND THE VOLTAGE OUTPUT OF THE AMPLIFIER. A COMPOSITE VOLTAGE OUTPUT SUBSTANTIALLY LINEAR WITH RESPECT TO THE RATIO OF CONSTITUENTS OF THE FLUID MIXTURE IS PRODUCED.

TL;DR: In this paper, the means voltage across the resistor while current passes through it can be used to measure the condenser capacity, resistor resistance, switching frequency or value of one constant voltage.
Abstract: An electrical circuit includes a condenser, resistor switching means and constant voltage source. One plate of the condenser is at constant voltage, the switching means connects the other plate alternately to a different constant voltage and to a constant voltage different from the latter. In one of the switch connecting conditions the resistor is switched in series with the condenser. The means voltage across the resistor while current passes through it can be used to measure the condenser capacity, resistor resistance, switching frequency or value of one constant voltage.
