Abstract: Products of controlled smelting of basalt, andesite, granite, with and without additions of dolomite and/or catalysts, show tendencies toward liquation stratification, structural reorganization, microheterogeneities, microtextures, etc., under certain conditions, and in general, behavior which may resemble petrologically the natural liquation, crystallization, and mineralogenesis. -- V .P.
