Abstract: The use of the t-plot intercept method for measurement of microporosity in the presence of mesopores was tested by obtaining nitrogen isotherms on synthetic mixtures of mesoporous silica gels with a microporous zeolite. Microporosity measurements were consistent with calculated values for the blend compositions.
