TL;DR: The ointment is an oil-in-water emulsion with melting point higher than 50 deg.C, good stability and retentivity as mentioned in this paper, which has ideal disinfectant effect.
Abstract: The ointment is an oil-in-water emulsion with melting point higher than 50 deg.C, good stability and retentivity. Its components include povidone-iodine 2%, stearic acid 10-15%, super fatty alcohol 6-10%, paraffin oil 0-3.5%, laurinol sodium sulphate 1-2%, potassium iodate 0.3-0.6%, glycerine 0-12%, polyethyleneglycol liquid 30-35% and distilled water 25-35%. During the prepn, various water phase and oil phase components are first mixed at 90 deg.C and povidone-iodine is added slowly after the temp. of mixture decreases to 40 deg.C. The said ointment has ideal disinfectant effect.

TL;DR: In this paper, a 4-benzyl-4'-iodbdiphenyl of formula I (R1 to R3 are independently H, alkyl, or alkoxy, respectively) is obtained by reacting 4-bensyl with an iodine or an iodine compound (preferably potassium iodide, potassium iodate or periodic acid) by using a protonic acid (especially preferably acetic acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, chloroacetic acid or periodic acids) as a catalyst.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a new 4-benzyl-4'-iododiphenyl useful as an intermediate for electron transfer substance, etc., a raw material for synthesizing an organic fine chemical product such as hydroxybenzyldiphenyl compound. CONSTITUTION:A 4-benzyl-4'-iodbdiphenyl of formula I (R1 to R3 are independently H, alkyl or alkoxy, respectively) such as 4-benzyl-4'-iododiphenyl or a 4-p- iodobenzyl-4'-iododiphenyl formula II such as 4-p-iodobenzyl-4'-iodobiphenyl. The iodinated benzyldiphenyl of formula I or formula II is obtained by reacting 4-benzyldiphenyl of formula III with iodine or an iodine compound (preferably potassium iodide, potassium iodate or periodic acid) by using a protonic acid (especially preferably acetic acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, chloroacetic acid or periodic acid) as a catalyst.

TL;DR: In this paper, a dietary salt composition having healthful effects on human and consisting of the following components: sodium chloride 5-95 wt.%, potassium iodate 5-50 mg/kg.
Abstract: This invention provides a dietary salt composition having healthful effects on human and consisting of the following components: sodium chloride 5-95 wt.%, potassium chloride 5-95 wt.%, sodium selenite and/or sodium selenate 5-100 mg/kg, potassium iodate 5-50 mg/kg. Said salt composition can be used as a replacement for common salt with the functions of reducing sodium intake and enriching potassium, selenium and iodine elements.
