Abstract: A fire door opener and method of electronically controlling the door descent speed is described. The operator includes a DC brake solenoid coupled to an AC motor drive system with an inline gear reducer and an electronically controlled descent device with battery backup power. If the brake is disengaged, the door will drop by overcoming the internal inertia and friction in the inline gear reducer. Speed of descent is controlled electronically by measuring the descent speed of the fire door at its limit shaft and electrically modulating the brake engagement using the DC solenoid.

A method of making the dispenser head includes making the flow reducer member by injection molding from one or more injection points situated on one or both sides of the slot.

Abstract: The invention is a compact, self-contained, portable, electrically powered, knockdown spray application machine/system for spraying liquid material on to surfaces. The spray system comprises a frame with wheels for supporting and transporting the components thereof. The spray system is powered by an electrically activated motor which includes a motor drive shaft disposed about a motor drive shaft axis. Attached to the motor is a gear reducer having a driven end and a drive end wherein the driven end is configured to receive and engage the motor drive shaft. The drive end includes a gear reducer drive shaft that rotates responsive to electrical activation of the motor. Coupled directly to the drive end of the gear reducer is a pump comprising a pump housing. The pump housing is shaped to define a containment chamber for receiving and containing liquid material therein. The pump housing also defines an inlet port for receiving and directing liquid material into the containment chamber. Mounted to the pump housing is a stator, the stator being mounted to the pump housing such that it is in communication with the containment chamber. Within the stator is a rotor disposed for rotation about a pump rotation axis responsive to rotation of the gear reducer drive shaft.

The entire bicycle is lightweight and long-life, while it is also energy saving high efficient and can be conveniently assembled, used, carried and maintained.

They are mixed to prepare filler. The process includes loading the filler in fixing tower until its thickness is 300-8000 mm and flowing sewage through the filler layer for 3-10 min. Its advantages are quick treatment, high effect, less occupied ground, simple process, less consumption and low cost.

Abstract: A joint torque detection system having a plurality of post-like members disposed around an axis of a joint which connects two links. The plurality of post-like members deform or twist when a torque is imparted to one of the links. An electric motor is fixed at one of the links and the motor rotation is reduced by a harmonic-drive speed reducer fixed at the other of the links. The plurality of post-like members are annularly disposed around the joint axis such that they embrace the speed reducer. A gap sensor (displacement detector) is fixed to the second link, close to the speed reducer between the output of the speed reducer and the second link in such a manner that the sensor generates a signal indicative of relative displacement of the speed reducer output (connected to the one of the links) and the second link. With this arrangement, the system can be incorporated in a small link mechanism such as a robot finger link mechanism, with excellent detection accuracy and an elongated service life.

Abstract: The invention relates to a filling fitting for filling a closed hot-water heating system, the filling fitting comprising a tube separator including an upstream backflow preventer, a downstream backflow preventer and a drain valve controlled by the inlet pressure and arranged, with regard to the flow, between said two backflow preventers, and a pressure reducer. This construction allows the downstream pressure reducer to be used in two manners, on one hand in connection with the tube separator and, on the other hand, in order to allow the pressure reducer to be removed. By dividing the filling fitting into two fitting portions, of which the second one only comprises the pressure reducer and the downstream backflow preventer, the second fitting portion can also be used alone without tube separator, when the safety requirements are less strict.

SOLUTION: A gas supply device 1 has a connection ferrule 2 for connecting a high-pressure gas supply source, and a connection ferrule 5 for connecting a low-pressure gas supply source. The first pressure reducer 13 is connected to the ferrule 2, and the second pressure reducer 17 is connected to a line downstream of the first pressure reducer 13 via the first shutoff valve 16. On the other hand, the second shutoff valve 23 is connected to the ferrule 5 and a line downstream of the second stop valve 23 is connected to a branch part 18 between the first shutoff valve 16 and the second pressure reducer 17. A cylinder pressure sensor 14 is connected to a high-pressure line 12, and a control part 24 controls the open/close operation of the first and the second shutoff valves 16 and 23, based on pressure detected by the cylinder pressure sensor 14. thereby feeding gas to a human or animal body cavity, with gas pressure maintained at the preset value in the device 1.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus including a rotatably driven transfer drum is provided. The transfer drum includes a main body and a dynamic vibration reducer. The dynamic vibration reducer includes an inertia pipe having an inertial moment, and at least one element connecting the inertia pipe to the interior of the main body so as to provide a spring-like property and a damping property therebetween. The apparatus dynamically reduces vibrations in a predetermined frequency band, such as that of the natural frequency of a specific gear, or the natural frequencies of an entire drive mechanism. In particular, the apparatus reduces vibratory peaks generated during the operation of the image forming apparatus.

The speed reducer incorporates an epicyclic gear train, including a cylindrical casing within which the internally toothed crown wheel of the epicyclic gear train is mounted in rotation. The crown wheel is coupled in rotation to the casing through a friction type torque limiting device, which is interposed axially between the crown wheel and a transverse plate of the casing. The torque limiting device includes at least one annular transverse friction surface of the crown wheel, which is biased elastically into axial engagement against a reaction surface coupled in rotation to the casing.

Abstract: The boring machine is disclosed which includes a power and control unit having a power source which uses a large electrical motor, a large hydraulic pump and a torque convertor connected to a speed reducer which controls the speed and torque provided to the auger and cutting head. A second small electrical motor and small hydraulic pump are used to power two hydraulic cylinders for pushing the string of pipe casings into the bored hole using a master pusher. A structural protector frame provides safety protection for an operator seated within the power and control unit. A control console is used by the operator for operating and controlling the boring machine and the direction of the string of pipe casings in the bored hole. Steering and pipe control cables extend into the bored hole from a wire spool mounted on the front of the power and control unit. A generator power by a diesel engine located outside the pit area provides electrical power for the electrical motors. The result of this new power and control unit accomplishes the objectives of a safe and efficient boring machine and boring operation.

Said paper forming unit consists of frame, multiple rollers, upper and lower shaping nets, ring felt and speed reducer of motor. The braided rib net is compounded with upper and lower paper pulp. Its advantages are simple structure, low cost and high strength of finished packing paper.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the inside space and weight of the back frame of a seat and to lower the cost through the reduction in the number of parts by arranging a pipe type motor in the position shared with the back frame pipe, i.e., a reinforcing member, transmitting the motor output to the feed screw through the deceleration/magnification, and vertically moving the head rest by that feeding. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted that the back frame 3, which is a reinforcing member of the seat, and a pipe type motor 6 are integrally arranged in a shared position and that the output of this pipe type motor 6 is reduced and magnified by a speed reducer. This output is imparted to a feed nut rotatably through a worm wheel 5, thereby moving the head rest 1 vertically by the screw 2a of a supporting post 2 from the head rest 1.
