Abstract: Internet of Things is a system where appliances are embedded with software, sensors and actuators. The devices are able to transfer data over a network and also communicate with each other [1]. The literature reports that many systems based on single mode of monitoring, power or lighting are not integrated into one control system, so there are complex control cumbersome, high operating costs. To solve this problem, we propose a Modbus protocol design for intelligent building security, All these perception-control-management are integrated into one system. This system adopts the Modbus protocol format for the data communication, the hardware system with processor as ARM5708 industry as the core development board development and design, Using Linux operating system, JavaWeb development and database management technology to achieve data interaction, display, storage, identification and other functions, Completed an embedded network communication protocol gateway and industrial design, and connects the traditional serial connection Modbus fieldbus and Ethernet communication, and finally the application is realized through Modbus TCP protocol. Compared with the previous building security design, we adopted Modbus bus control, which saved the resources of the core development board and effectively applied the Modbus TCP protocol and Modbus RTU protocol. The webpage control end realizes the collection of the temperature and humidity gas concentration of the intelligent building and the detection of the human body infrared. For the purpose of verification and testing, a three-story building prototype was built.

Abstract: A air quality monitoring system based on the NB-IoT was designed for wireless monitoring of special field environment. The STM32FI03RCT6 microprocessor unit was the core processor and the data of gas pollutants was collected by electrochemical gas sensor through serial port. The switching mechanism of wireless network and the data storage mechanism of disconnected network was designed. The network communication based on the TCP/IP protocol was realized through NB-IoT module or GPRS module. The experimental results show that the data transmission of NB-IoT network is stable. The system can automatically switch to GPRS network as the NB-IoT network is abnormal. In the absence of network, the data is stored in SPI Flash. The collected data can be reloaded as the disconnected network is recovered.

Abstract: This paper mainly covers the wireless video intelligent car made of hardware and the design of software programming. It uses the idea of modularization in the design of hardware, STC12C5A60S2 single-chip microcomputer as the master control chip, and STC89C52RC MCU as the auxiliary control chip. The peripheral circuit modules include Wi-Fi camera monitoring HC-06 module, serial communication module, Bluetooth GPS positioning module, LCD12864 module, DC deceleration motor and L298N driver module, voice BY8301-16 p playback module, TTP223 touch sensor module, the infrared sensor of obstacle avoidance module, active buzzer alarm module, lighting module, power supply circuit, reset circuit, etc. Software is designed with the Keil-Vision5 write master program and the auxiliary control chip. Bluetooth intellectual control App on the Android mobile phone is adopted to write PC serial port to send data to the PC installation SYSM—Monitor monitoring software view and to check the state of the smart car and then the data is displayed on the screen through LCD12864. Abstract: In the development of projects where hardware and software components are included, electronic components such as sensors, actuators, control mechanisms, artificial vision equipment are used, these require a base platform to be inserted, most of these components require different mechanisms to be used, such as connectors and interfaces, which determines the implementation of a complex system made up of different technologies and communication protocols, added to this problem is the different energy requirements so the system ends up performing a high energy consumption, the proposal presented is the use of the NVIDIA Jetson TK1 development platform, which is equipped with many alternatives to connect a series of sensors and actuators, cameras and other devices, as well as a powerful processing unit graph GPU from where you can perform image processing ny video in the same platform, managing to reduce the size of the solution with a considerable saving in energy consumption, likewise if the solution considers time as a critical factor, it also presents the configuration of being able to work through a time system real, managing to be able to control the access time to the resources of the system and to the devices connected to the development platform. The platform is composed of an ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, an NVIDIA Kepler GPU equipped with 192 CUDA cores, RS232 serial port, UART, GPIO, i2c, as main features.

Abstract: In order to monitor and manage the devices under different fieldbus networks comprehensively in intelligent buildings, we designed a fieldbus protocol conversion gateway system based on embedded Linux platform. The fieldbus protocols (Modbus/RTU, BACnet/MSTP and DL/T645-2007) which use RS485 serial interface can be converted into Modbus/TCP protocol based on the Ethernet TCP/IP network by the gateway. In this system, the gateway uses ARM-Cotex-A8-based microprocessor AM335x equipped with embedded Linux to run the protocol conversion program. And Qt Creator is used to develop the client that realizes the functions of configuring the gateway and accessing each device in intelligent buildings through the gateway. Experiment results have shown that the gateway system we proposed has good real-time property and stability, and the remote client can obtain the data from devices and change the parameters of devices.

Abstract: The near-infrared sky brightness monitor (NIRBM) aims to measure the near-infrared sky background in Antarctica. The NIRBM mainly consists of an InGaAs detector, a chopper, a reflector, a cooler, and a blackbody. Considering the environment is harsh for humans in Antarctica, a multilevel remote control software system, based on experimental physics and industrial control system (EPICS), and Web technology is implemented. A set of EPICS input–output controllers (IOCs) is developed to control each hardware module independently via serial port communication with the STM32 microcontroller. As a client toolkit of the EPICS, PyEpics is used to monitor or change the value of EPICS Process Variables. Tornado web framework is responsible for the specific operation process of interdevice collaboration, and expose a set of interfaces for users to make calls. The Tornado back-end is designed as a master–agent architecture. The master–agent nodes communicate with each other through the WebSocket protocol running on a low- bandwidth satellite link. The graphic user interface is implemented in the form of a single-page application using the Vue framework, which communicates with Tornado through WebSocket and AJAX request. The web page integrates the interfaces of device configuration, device control, data curve drawing, alarm display, and auto operations.

The embedded controller within the IC package is configured to: receive incoming packets, via a serial communication interface of the controller, from a serial connection outside of the IC package; convert the incoming packets into commands and addresses according to a predetermined serial communication protocol; operate memory units encapsulated within the IC package according to the commands and the addresses; convert results of at least a portion of the commands into outgoing packets; and transmit the outgoing packets via the serial communication interface to the serial connection outside of the IC package.

Abstract: In the paper, we introduce a Python based software library and a testbed based for TI's 77 GHz automotive radars using the FPGA based hi-speed ethernet link. The main design objective is to be able to test high level algorithms in real-time, show live results with minimal effort, avoid using low speed serial ports, and build the whole system on FPGA based hi-speed communication. All of these are possible using TI's C/C++ toolchain, but may require much more effort, especially for testing high DSP level algorithms. This is true even if all advanced MATLAB and Python DSP libraries are made available in TI's framework. To be able to test different high level algorithms with less effort, TI is providing a closed source Windows application to record raw ADC data for offline analysis in MATLAB. This setup requires a companion Lattice FPGA board, DCA1000, which sends raw ADC data from all receive antennas as UDP packets. However, this setup is useful only for offline analysis. That's why we have implemented a Python based software library and a testbed for real-time testing and visualization using this raw ADC data. Implemented library does all UDP processing, parsing, and returns numpy arrays representing raw ADC data for each receive antenna. A couple of code samples, including a real-time direction of arrival estimation program, are presented to demonstrate the simplicity and usefulness of the developed system.

Abstract: This paper designs an educational robot platform according to the needs of robot education for primary and middle school students. The mechanical mechanism design of the robot platform is carried out, and the environment sensing module based on multi-sensor information fusion is designed. The robot platform control is realized based on the ADRC control algorithm. The chassis control board uses the STM32 control board with the STM32F405RG microcontroller as the core. The board integrates MicroPython firmware, which enables access and control of the underlying hardware through the Python scripting language. The sensor modules such as the inertial navigation module and the vision module are connected with the Raspberry Pi development board. The raspberry PI development board conducts path planning according to multi-sensor information fusion, and sends control instructions to the chassis control board through the serial port. On this basis, the Python plug-in management system is designed to realize the graphical programming control robot.

Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of a didactic module for teaching process control techniques for electronics engineering students. The module is designed to teach the students how to control the flow and level of a process using different techniques such as On/Off control, PID control, cascade control, and others. The module provides three different interfaces with the process, manual control, a PLC interface with digital/analog input/output signals and a serial USB interface that connects the module with Matlab/Simulink and LabVIEW. The module was implemented with industrial valves both On/Off and proportional as actuators. Industrial level switches, a flow meter, and an ultrasonic level meter uses as sensors in order to provide students with first-hand experience with industrial equipment. This multi-purpose and multi-interface design makes the module a very flexible tool for teaching process control techniques. The entire process of design, implementation and test results are presented.

Abstract: Aiming at many problems of school multimedia classroom management, a remote control system for multimedia classroom based on cloud computing is developed. The system includes cloud computing management platform, network switch, single-chip microcomputer and equipment in the multimedia classrooms. It uses VMware desktop virtualization technology to deploy virtual machine templates of different courses in each classroom through the campus network. It controls all multimedia equipment in each classroom by single-chip microcomputer remote control. In terms of software and hardware, key problems such as multithreading, socket communication and remote control are solved and a single-chip microcomputer is developed to control the classroom equipment through the serial ports automatically. Compared with the traditional system, the system based on cloud computing has the advantages of rapid deployment and unified management. It improves the teaching effects of multimedia course and it reduces the construction and maintenance of multimedia classrooms.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile communication relay device based on a low voltage carrier. The mobile communication relay device comprises a host module, a slave module, a power line communication modem module, a communication module and a serial port switching module, the serial port switching module is mounted on acquisition equipment, the slave module is connected with the serial port switching module by virtue of a reticle, a GPRS module of a concentrator is mounted on the communication module and is connected with the host module by virtue of a reticle, and data remote transmission is performed between the host module and the slave module by virtue of a power line carrier. On the basis of a carrier-to-GPRS module, a carrier-to-WiFi module is integrated, and acquisition of electricity utilization information of a signal blind area in a basement and an IP phone function are realized. A many-to-many function is realized, and mutual interference of carrier signals is reduced, so that reliable data transmission is guaranteed.

Abstract: The calibration flight is an important technical means to verify the performance and accuracy of the TT&C equipment. In the flying, the equipment is power-on/power-off and the transponder mode is switched according to the needs. The transponder is a borrower. In the case of giving-back, it is especially important to recurring maintenance for the attachment. Through the system design, the original monitoring standby machine, the analog power supply chassis and the analogue controllers state of the transponder state, and three Bosch card and one serial server are used to fully simulate the on-board application environment. The industrial tablet application software adopts C# design to realize effective information interaction with the monitoring standby machine through serial port and network communication. The characteristics of the system are the continuous assessment of the power-on maintenance of spare parts, personnel training and actual system software, which is of great significance to the actual work.

Abstract: With the increase of the transmission line mileage, the transmission line inspection is facing severe challenges. As an efficient inspection way, the UAV (Unnamed Aerial Vechicle) is used for the transmission line inspection. However, at the present stage, to complete the observation and data collection of transmission line equipment, the PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera in the UAV is completely controlled dependent on the operator during the inspection. These needs higher requirements for the operator and lead to high labor intensity. And the image scale of the collection device is not uniform, which improves the difficulty of subsequent intelligent diagnosis of defects. In order to solve this problem, this paper designs an intelligent acquisition system for UAVs based on edge computing using in the transmission line inspection. The system includes the front-end edge computing detection module based on SSD (Single Shot Multibox Detector) algorithm and a PTZ camera control module. The system workflow is as follows: firstly, the UAV acquires the video stream data of the surrounding environment of the transmission line through the fixed-focus camera in the PTZ. The front-end edge computing detection module receives the video stream through the USB interface. And the front-end edge computing module uses the SSD algorithm to identify the video stream gotten from the PTZ camera to recognize and locate the transmission line equipment. Secondly, if the transmission line equipment is identified in the field of view, such as an insulator, the anti-vibration hammer, the equalizing ring, etc., the front-end edge computing module calculates the target image ratio of the device and from the center position based on the identified pixel position information of the transmission line equipment, and converts to the pan-tilt rotation amount and camera pulling factor. The pan-tilt rotation amount and camera pulling factor is transmitted to the PTZ camera control module through the serial port. The PTZ camera control module controls the camera's movement until the transmission line equipment is in the center of the field of view. Finally, the wide-angle camera in dual-view PTZ camera is controlled to zoom. And the image after the zoom is photographed and saved to finish a flow of the data of transmission line equipment collects. After testing, the SSD algorithm for transmission line equipment can achieve an overall recognition accuracy of 73%. The insulator identification accuracy is 75.7%.The anti-vibration hammer identification accuracy is 72.6%.And the equalization ring recognition accuracy is 70.3%.The acquisition video is 1080P, the edge computing module processing speed is 3fp/s, and the pan/tilt control module controls the pan/tilt camera to complete a shooting time of 3s. On the one hand, the system realizes the autonomy, process and standardized collection of the image information during the transmission line equipment while improving the validity of the image data information and reduces the complexity of the subsequent defect diagnosis. On the other hand, it also reduces the manual participation degree of the inspection operation so that the efficiency can be increased by 5~7 times compared with the manual control of the PTZ camera for equipment acquisition.

Abstract: The invention discloses an intelligent home system based on a micro-service architecture and a construction method. The intelligent home system comprises a server, a third-party wireless transmissionequipment group and a sensor component. The sensor assembly is connected with the wireless transmission device through the connection circuit to form a wireless network node. The wireless receiving and transmitting equipment sends data acquired by the sensor to the coordinator according to a used wireless transmission protocol. The coordinator gathers the data collected by the wireless network terminal nodes and sends the data to the server through serial ports, and the server stores the serial port data into a database through a serial port real-time monitoring script so as to complete the gathering of the wireless network node data. Single server is adopted. Registration discovery and a load balancing mechanism of services are realized by using a Docker + Spring mode. The coupling degreeof the system can be effectively reduced, each micro-service can be independently developed, independently deployed and even developed by using different languages, and the maintenance and updating cost of the system is greatly reduced.
