TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a method to obtain the subject pellet comprising polyphenylene ether or polycarbonate resin and a specific phosphate ester, low in load deflection temperature, easy in extrusion molding processing, excellent in handleability, and capable of imparting flame retardancy to the resin materials.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject pellet comprising a polyphenylene ether resin, etc., and a specific phosphate ester, low in load deflection temperature, easy in extrusion molding processing, excellent in handleability, and capable of imparting flame retardancy to the resin materials. CONSTITUTION:This pellet comprises (A) a polyphenylene ether resin or a polycarbonate resin and (B) a phosphate ester of the formula (Q1 to Q4 each is a 1-6C alkyl; R1 to R4 each is H, methyl; (n) is >=1; n1, n2 are each 0-2; m1 to m4 each is 0-3) (e.g. the ester of bisphenol A bound two or more triphenyl phosphate molecules, etc.,) and has a load deflection temperature of 120 deg.C under a flextural stress of 18.5kgf/cm . The pellets are blended with (C) a thermoplastic resin (preferably a styrenic resin) and subsequently melt-kneaded to obtain the flame-resistant resin material.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rust preventive oil for removing solid lubricating surface treating on the surface of a steel sheet by incorporating a specific ratio of phthalic ester based or phosphoric ester-based plasticizer to a base oil is presented.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a rust preventive oil for removing solid lubricating surface treating on the surface of a steel sheet by incorporating a specific ratio of phthalic ester based or phosphoric ester based plasticizer to a base oil. CONSTITUTION:The rust preventive oil is prepared by adding 5-30 pts.wt. mixture of tricresyl phosphate, triphenyl phosphate, tributyl phosphate, diethyl phthalate or tricresyl phosphate with triphenyl phosphate or mixture of tricresyl phosphate with dibutyl phthalate into 100 pts.wt. base oil. When the rust preventive oil is applied on the solid lubricating surface treated steel sheet, the plasticizer in the rust preventive oil dissolves and removes the lubricating surface treating from the steel sheet and at the time of being coated with an adhesive, the steel sheet exhibits excellent adhesive power to a base material and is stuck strongly to the base material.

TL;DR: In this article, a modified polyamide obtained by substituting an amino group at th end of a polyamide with any of groups formula I to formula III (R is H, 1-30C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic residue) is preferable as the polyamide of the component B.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an incorporated fiber useful for producing ultra-fine fiber and porous fiber, by making a polyester and a polyamide form a clear sea-island structure, comprising one of the polyester inactive to amide-ester exchange reaction and the aliphatic polyamide as an island component and the other as a sea component. CONSTITUTION:An island component having 0.2-0.8mum section area and 2,000-4,000mum volume is formed from one of (A) a polyester inactive to amide- ester exchange reaction and (B) an aliphatic amide and a sea component is composed of the other. The component A is mixed with an inactivating agent (n-octadecyl phosphite, triphenyl phosphite or triphenyl phosphate) to inactivate the residual catalyst in the polyester. A modified polyamide obtained by substituting an amino group at th end of a polyamide with any of groups formula I to formula III (R is H, 1-30C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic residue) is preferable as the polyamide of the component B. A block copolymer will not be formed between the component A and the component B in the fiber.

TL;DR: In this article, a refrigerator oil composition having excellent insulating properties was obtained by dissolving an additive in a solvent, dissolving in a base oil and then removing the solvent.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a refrigerator oil composition having excellent insulating properties, especially useful for a freezing system having a closed type compressor in an excellent operation efficiency by dissolving an additive in a solvent, dissolving in a base oil and then removing the solvent. CONSTITUTION:Pentaerythritol is conventionally esterified with 2-ethylhexanoic acid in the presence of a catalyst such as titanium tetrabutyrate. The prepared reaction product is mixed with potassium hydroxide to neutralize the catalyst and purified by water washing with distilled water to give a base oil of an ester oil. Besides, triphenyl phosphate as an additive is dissolved in a solvent such as toluene at room temperature to give a 40% solution. The solution is added to the base oil of an ester oil so that the amount of triphenyl phosphate becomes 2.0wt.% and uniformly dissolved at room temperature. Then the solvent is distilled away by vacuum distillation to give the refrigerator oil composition having excellent insulating properties in excellent operation efficiency.
