TL;DR: In this paper, a frame of reference is selected, and control inputs provided by a vehicle operator are transformed to account for the orientation of a remotely operated vehicle with respect to the selected frame.
Abstract: A frame of reference is selected, and control inputs provided by a vehicle operator are transformed to account for the orientation of a remotely operated vehicle with respect to the selected frame of reference such that the remotely operated vehicle responds to the control inputs with respect to the selected frame of reference. An earth frame of reference may be selected based on a fixed true heading, e.g., North, or based on the initial orientation of the vehicle operator. Alternatively, a vehicle frame of reference may be selected which provides a fixed frame of reference with respect to the vehicle and a variable frame of reference with respect to the vehicle operator. A vehicle operator frame of reference may also be selected based on the orientation of the vehicle operator with respect to earth, and control commands are transformed based on changes in both the operator orientation with respect to the earth reference and the remotely operated vehicle orientation with respect to the earth reference, which provides a fixed frame of reference with respect to the vehicle operator and a variable frame of reference with respect to the vehicle. The remotely operated vehicle heading transformation may be based on a selected forward, fixed or variable point on the vehicle related to a vehicle center of gravity, a forward part of the vehicle, the location of a sensor on the vehicle, or some other arbitrary reference location on the vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, a motor vehicle vibrating system has a first vibrator for vertically vibrating the rear axle, a second vibrator was used to vibrate the front axle, and a third vibrator vibrated one of the front and rear axles back and forth in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle.
Abstract: A motor vehicle vibrating system vibrates a motor vehicle having front and rear axles rotatably supported on a motor vehicle frame to simulate the load which would be applied from an actual road to the motor vehicle. The motor vehicle vibrating system has a first vibrator for vertically vibrating the rear axle, a second vibrator for vertically vibrating the front axle, and a third vibrator for vibrating one of the front and rear axles back and forth in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rough terrain vehicle with a vehicle frame which maintains the vehicle platform and body in a relatively level position even when traversing slanted or uneven terrain is disclosed, and a control mechanism is operatively associated with the connecting members for adjusting the relative positions of the frame arms so that the central axle remains relatively level even as the wheels follow the contour of the terrain.
Abstract: A rough terrain vehicle having a vehicle frame which maintains the vehicle platform and body in a relatively level position even when traversing slanted or uneven terrain is disclosed. The vehicle frame includes first and second forwardly-extending frame arms, and third and fourth rearwardly-extending frame arms. A central axle connects the frame arms at a midpoint of the vehicle and permits relative movement of the frame arms about pivot points at each side of the vehicle. Length-adjustable connecting members are provided at each side of the vehicle for controlling relative movement of the frame arms about the pivot points. A control mechanism is operatively associated with the connecting members for adjusting the relative positions of the frame arms so that the central axle remains relatively level even as the wheels follow the contour of slanted or uneven terrain. The vehicle platform and body are supported by the central axle so the vehicle body which carries the driver also remains level as the vehicle travels over the ground surface.

TL;DR: In this paper, the bus is assembled in a modular layout to suit different vehicle sizes etc. The front suspension struts (12) are supported at their upper ends on a frame (5,6,7,8) whose upper, outer sections are secured to the vehicle frame and with a U-shaped structure.
Abstract: The bus is assembled in a modular layout to suit different vehicle sizes etc. The front suspension struts (12) are supported at their upper ends on a frame (5,6,7,8) whose upper, outer sections are secured to the vehicle frame and with a U-shaped structure. The frame supports the steering controls, driver's seat etc. The bottom of the frame has diagonal struts onto the vehicle frame to support longitudinal forces. The upper mountings are supported by sloping struts (4) incorporated into the vehicle frame. The suspension struts are sloped and are designed to accommodate torsion forces as well as displacement forces.

TL;DR: In this article, an engine hood construction for a work vehicle is described, where the engine hood is vertically separatable into a lower hood and an upper hood, and the lower hood is fixedly attachable to and detachable from a vehicle frame and the upper hood is attached to the vehicle frame to be pivotably and vertically opened and closed relative to the frame.
Abstract: An engine hood construction for a work vehicle is disclosed. The engine hood is vertically separatable into a lower hood section and an upper hood section. The lower hood section is fixedly attachable to and detachable from a vehicle frame, and the upper hood section is attached to the vehicle frame to be pivotably and vertically opened and closed relative to the frame. A control panel is provided at a rear portion of the engine hood and forming a rear wall of an engine room. The control panel has a forwardly opened hook shape in a plan view. The construction further includes a connecting arrangement for fixedly connecting the lower hood section to the vehicle frame and engaging members for enabling the lower hood section to be engaged with the control panel along a fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle when the connecting arrangement is not connected.

TL;DR: In this article, a vehicle frame has crossmembers (5) secured to connecting components (7) forming the top and bottom, each cross-member consists of a frame (15) of open hollow profiled members inside which fixing devices (25) and fittings etc.
Abstract: The vehicle frame (3) accommodates boxes or sliding drawers. The frame has cross-members (5) secured to connecting components (7) forming the top and bottom. Each cross-member consists of a frame (15) of open hollow profiled members (21), inside which fixing devices (25) and fittings etc. are accommodated. The members can be open towards the interior of the frame. They can be of channel-section and of light alloy, esp. hard aluminium. The connecting components can consist of sheet-metal panels, with sidewalls bent over and fixed to the cross-member frames.

TL;DR: In this paper, a power steering mechanism is interposed among a handle and a right and a left front wheel 5 and 5, and is equipped with a protection member (p) protecting a power cylinder set in the lower surface of a vehicle frame 1.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a power cylinder from being damaged, and concurrently balance a machine body at the time of working by covering the power cylinder disposed below the vehicle frame by a box shaped protection member carrying a weight. CONSTITUTION:A power steering mechanism 6 is interposed among a handle 3 and a right and a left front wheel 5 and 5, and is equipped with a protection member (p) protecting a power cylinder (s) set in the lower surface of a vehicle frame 1. The protection member (p) is bolted together with the lower surface of the vehicle frame 1, is in a box shape, and carries a weight at its lower half section. This constitution thereby prevents the power cylinder (s) from being damaged because of its accidental contact with levees and the like, and also prevents the front wheels 5 from tending to float, so that the car body can thereby be kept in balance.
