Journal ArticleDOI
A ternary complex model explains the agonist-specific binding properties of the adenylate cyclase-coupled beta-adrenergic receptor.
TL;DR: In this paper, a ternary complex model was used to fit the data with high accuracy under conditions where the ligand used is either a full or a partial agonist and where the system is altered by the addition of guanine nucleotide or after treatment with group-specific reagents.
Journal Article
Validation and statistical analysis of a computer modeling method for quantitative analysis of radioligand binding data for mixtures of pharmacological receptor subtypes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anterior pituitary dopamine receptors. Demonstration of interconvertible high and low affinity states of the D-2 dopamine receptor.
TL;DR: The interactions of dopaminergic agonists and antagonists with binding sites in bovine anterior pituitary membranes have been investigated with radioligand-binding techniques and computer-modeling procedures and the binding data can be explained by postulating two states of the D-2 dopamine receptor.
Journal Article
Dopamine receptor of the porcine anterior pituitary gland. Evidence for two affinity states discriminated by both agonists and antagonists.
Journal ArticleDOI
Affinity cross-linking of atrial natriuretic factor to its receptor in bovine adrenal zona glomerulosa.
TL;DR: 125I-Labeled atrial natriuretic factor was covalently cross-linked to its binding sites in bovine adrenal zona glomerulosa membranes using the hydrophilic cross-linker bis(sulfosuccinimidyl) suberate and electrophoresis showed that the affinity-labeled species are not derived from larger disulfide-linked components.
