Stein,H. Ströher,S.V. Trusov,Yu. Valdau,Yu. Valdau,Colin Wilkin,P. Wüstner +35 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the production of Φ mesons in the collisions of 2.83 GeV protons with C, Cu, Ag, and Au at forward angles via the Φ → K+K- decay using the COSY-ANKE magnetic spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Yoshikazu Maeda,M. Hartmann,I. Keshelashvili,S. Barsov,Markus Büscher,M. Drochner,A. Dzyuba,V. Hejny,A.K. Kacharava,V. Kleber,H.R. Koch,V. Koptev,P. Kulessa,B. Lorentz,T. Mersmann,S. Mikirtytchiants,Andreas Mussgiller,M. Nekipelov,H. Ohm,D. Prasuhn,R. Schleichert,H. J. Stein,H. Ströher,Yu. Valdau,Colin Wilkin,P. Wüstner +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the differential and total cross sections for kaon pair production in the pp -> ppK(+)K(-) reaction at three beam energies of 2.65, 2.70, and 2.83 GeV using the ANKE magnetic spectrometer at the COSY-Julich accelerator.
Journal ArticleDOI

M. Hartmann,Yu. T. Kiselev,A. Polyanskiy,E. Ya. Paryev,Markus Büscher,D. Chiladze,S. Dymov,A. Dzyuba,Ralf Gebel,V. Hejny,B. Kämpfer,I. Keshelashvili,V. Koptev,B. Lorentz,Y. Maeda,V. K. Magas,S. TL;DR: In this paper, the momentum dependence of the nuclear transparency ratio, the in-medium phi width, and the differential cross section for phi meson production at forward angles have been determined for these targets over the momentum range of 0.6 - 1.6 GeV/c.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wüstner +29 more
TL;DR: In this article, the energy dependence of the total and differential cross sections for excess energies up to 80 MeV by determining the Fermi momentum of the target neutron on an event-by-event basis was extracted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence for an excited hyperon state in pp --> pK+Y0*.
I. Zychor,V. Koptev,Markus Büscher,A. Dzyuba,I. Keshelashvili,I. Keshelashvili,V. Kleber,H.R. Koch,S. Krewald,Y. Maeda,S. Mikirtichyants,M. Nekipelov,M. Nekipelov,H. Ströher,Colin Wilkin +14 more
TL;DR: Relativistic quark models for the baryon spectrum do not predict any excited hyperon in this mass range and so the Y0* may be of exotic nature, and consistent results were obtained in spite of the quite different experimental conditions.
