Abashian-Booth-Crowe Effect in Basic Double-Pionic Fusion: A New Resonance?

Patrik Adlarson, +122 more
TL;DR: An exclusive and kinematically complete high-statistics measurement of the basic double-pionic fusion reaction pn→dπ( 0)π(0) over the full energy region of the ABC effect reveals a pronounced low-mass enhancement in the ππ-invariant mass spectrum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for a New Resonance from Polarized Neutron-Proton Scattering

P. Adlarson, +116 more
TL;DR: In this article, high-statistics measurements of quasifree polarized (n) over right arrowp scattering have been performed in the energy region of the narrow resonancelike struct...
Journal ArticleDOI

Isospin decomposition of the basic double-pionic fusion in the region of the ABC effect

P. Adlarson, +120 more
- 25 Apr 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, high-statistics measurements of the basic double-pionic fusion reactions pn = d pi(0)pi(0), pn > 0, pn < 0, and pp = 0.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precision study of the eta He-3 system using the dp ---> He-3 eta reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, the differential and total cross sections for the dp{yields}sup 3}He{eta} reaction have been measured in a high precision high statistics COSY-ANKE experiment near threshold using a continuous beam energy ramp up to an excess energy Q of 11.3 MeV with essentially 100% acceptance.
