Geoinformatics for biodiversity assessment
TL;DR: The role of multisensor satellite data in understanding the spatial and temporal patterns of vegetation type and distribution as a precursor for biodiversity assessment is explained and a future scenario in terms of requirements and adoption of these technologies is brought out.
