In-beam gamma -ray spectroscopy above 100Sn using the new technique of recoil decay tagging
E. S. Paul,Philip Woods,Thomas Davinson,R. D. Page,Paul J. Sellin,C. W. Beausang,R. M. Clark,R.A. Cunningham,S. A. Forbes,D. B. Fossan,A. Gizon,J. Gizon,K. Hauschild,I. M. Hibbert,A.N. James,D. R. LaFosse,I.H. Lazarus,H. Schnare,Jayne Simpson,R. Wadsworth,M. P. Waring +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel method of selecting \ensuremath{\gamma}-ray transitions in heavy nuclei (Ag100) at the proton drip-line has been attempted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interplay between proton and neutron S-bands in the Xe-Ba-Ce-region

TL;DR: In this paper, two-quasiparticle bands of positive parity (S-bands) in even-even nuclei in the Xe-Ba-Ce region are systematically examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
In-band M1 and E2 transition rates and collective structures in 128Ba
P. Petkov,P. Petkov,J. Gableske,O. Vogel,A. Dewald,P. von Brentano,R. Krücken,R. Peusquens,N. Nicolay,A. Gizon,J. Gizon,D. Bazzacco,C. Rossi-Alvarez,S. Lunardi,P. Pavan,D. R. Napoli,W. Andrejtscheff,R. V. Jolos +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Doppler-shift attenuation (DSA) technique was used to measure the lifetime of eight excited states in 128Ba populated via the 96Zr(36S,4n) reaction using a line shape analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental Evidence for Transverse Wobbling in ^{105}Pd
János Timár,Q. B. Chen,B. Kruzsicz,Dóra Sohler,István Kuti,Shudong Zhang,Jie Meng,Pankaj S. Joshi,R. Wadsworth,K. Starosta,Alejandro Algora,Alejandro Algora,P. Bednarczyk,D. Curien,Zsolt Dombrádi,G. TL;DR: This work provides the first experimental evidence for transverse wobbling bands based on a one-neutron configuration, and also represents the first observation of wobbling motion in the A∼100 mass region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deformed intruder band in 112Te: First evidence for rotational behavior in the tellurium isotopes.
E. S. Paul,C. W. Beausang,S. A. Forbes,S.J. Gale,A.N. James,Peter B. Jones,Malcolm J. Joyce,H.R. Andrews,V. P. Janzen,D. C. Radford,D. Ward,R. M. Clark,K. Hauschild,I. M. Hibbert,R. Wadsworth,R.A. TL;DR: States in the neutron-deficient 110,112Te isotopes have been populated following 58Ni+58,60Ni reactions, and a long regular cascade of transitions, indicating collective behavior, was found in 112Te extending to high spin.
