TL;DR: The European hybrid spectrometer (EHS) was used in the NA27 experiment to study charm particles produced in 360 GeV c π-p and 400 GeVc pp interactions.

Holographic photography of bubble chamber tracks: A feasibility test
M. Dykes,P. Lecoq,D. Güsewell,A Hervé,H. Wenninger,H. Royer,B. Hahn,E. Hugentobler,E. Ramseyer,M. Boratov +9 more
TL;DR: The use of holography should permit the improvement of optical resolution without the loss of depth of field inherent in conventional photography, and should also permit the use of much more intense particle beams in bubble chambers.

A rapid cycling hydrogen bubble chamber with high spatial resolution for visualizing charmed particle decays
J.L. Benichou,A Hervé,H. Leutz,G. Passardi,W. Seidl,J. Tischhauser,Horst Wenninger,C.M. Fisher +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a rapid cycling hydrogen chamber with high spatial resolution has been constructed for the purpose of directly detecting the decays of charmed particles, which has taken a total of 1.63 million pictures during more than 20 million expansion cycles.
