Journal ArticleDOI

Development of an amperometric sulfite biosensor based on sulfite oxidase with cytochrome c, as electron acceptor, and a screen-printed transducer

TL;DR: In this article, an amperometric biosensor for sulfite has been developed, which was tested on samples of unspiked and spiked estuarine, river and tap waters, and it was found that the initial response was retained for at least 45 days.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of disposable amperometric sulfur dioxide biosensors based on screen printed electrodes

TL;DR: These studies illustrate the successful use of biosensors for the detection of sulfur dioxide at the relatively low potential of +0.3 V versus AgCl and should provide useful alternatives for decentralised environmental studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrocatalytic, diffusional and analytical characteristics of a cobalt phthalocyanine modified, screen-printed, amperometric gas sensor for propanethiol

TL;DR: In this article, a method is proposed to estimate the diffusion coefficient of propanethiol in agarose gel based on the amperometric data and the free boundary model of diffusion.
