Journal ArticleDOI

Semi-phenomenological fits to nucleon electromagnetic form factors

TL;DR: Several theoretically interesting forms of the nucleon EM form factor have been considered and found to provide quantitative descriptions of available data with as few as three adjustable parameters as discussed by the authors, but none of them can be used to provide a quantitative description of the available data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pion exchange currents in elastic electron deuteron scattering

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of pion exchange pari and recoil currents on the electromagnetic form factor of the deuteron were investigated and it was shown that both currents give significant contributions to the charge form factor and, despite some cancellation, their net effect is appreciable for q2 ⩾ 10 fm−2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Planar theory made variational.

TL;DR: On montre analytiquement que plusieurs approximations simples conduisent inevitablement a la fonction de distribution radiale g(r) obtenue par la methode variationnelle de Jastrow.
Journal ArticleDOI

Euler-lagrange equations and hypernetted chain calculations of boson matter

TL;DR: The use of two-body distribution functions which minimize the HNC approximation to the Jackson-Feenberg energy of boson matter is shown to lead to convenient expressions for the calculation of ∂g ∂ρ, pressure and compressibility.
