TL;DR: In this article, a single nano-sized graphene sheet is prepared by a combination of electrophoretic deposition (EPD) and heat-treatment of diamond nano-particles on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conductivity and surface morphology of Nafion membrane in water and alcohol environments
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface properties of Nafion membrane were investigated by contact and tapping AFM modes, showing that ionic and cluster domains are distinguishable from the surface of samples impregnated either in water or alcohols.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrophoretic Deposition of nanosized diamond particles
TL;DR: In this paper, an electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method was used to deposit diamond nanoparticles from isopropyl alcohol suspensions on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) substrates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile Synthesis of Ni(OH)2 Modified Disposable Pencil Graphite Electrode and its Application for Highly Sensitive Non-enzymatic Glucose Sensor
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous recovery of Zn and Mn from used batteries in acidic and alkaline mediums: A comparative study
TL;DR: A parallel study of acidic and alkaline leaching for the recovery of Mn and Zn from spent alkaline batteries is outlined and a simple chemical route is described for the first time for the direct conversion of Zn(OH)42- solution to nanostructured ZnO by lowering the pH to values around 12 using 2M HCl solution.
