Selective hydrogen gas nanosensor using individual ZnO nanowire with fast response at room temperature
Oleg Lupan,Oleg Lupan,Veaceslav Ursaki,Guangyu Chai,Lee Chow,Gennadi A. Emelchenko,Ion Tiginyanu,A. N. Gruzintsev,A. N. Redkin +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single ZnO nanowire-based nanoscale sensor fabricated using focused ion beam (FIB/SEM) instrument was used to determine the deep levels related to defects and evaluate the effect of thermal treatment in H2 atmosphere on the emission from ZnOs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of ZnO nanowires for nanosensor applications
Oleg Lupan,Oleg Lupan,Gennadi A. Emelchenko,Veaceslav Ursaki,Veaceslav Ursaki,Guangyu Chai,A. N. Redkin,A. N. Gruzintsev,Ion Tiginyanu,Ion Tiginyanu,Lee Chow,Luis K. Ono,B. Roldan Cuenya,Helge Heinrich,E. E. Yakimov +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of ZnO nanowires via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) at 650°C was reported, and the results showed that these nanowire are suitable for sensing applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultraviolet photoconductive sensor based on single ZnO nanowire
Oleg Lupan,Oleg Lupan,Guangyu Chai,Lee Chow,Gennadi A. Emelchenko,Helge Heinrich,Veaceslav Ursaki,Veaceslav Ursaki,A. N. Gruzintsev,Ion Tiginyanu,Ion Tiginyanu,A. N. Redkin +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the photoresponse and characteristics of the ZnO nanowire-device demonstrates that focused ion beam process offers a way to fabricate novel nanodevices on a single ZnOs with diameters as small as 100 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photoelectric properties of ZnO films doped with Cu and Ag acceptor impurities
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence exerted by doping with Cu and Ag acceptor impurities at a content of 1, 3, and 5 at. % on the luminescence and photoconductivity of zinc oxide films has been studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Luminescent Properties of ZnO Films Doped with Group-IB Acceptors
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown by experiment that the doping of ZnO films with Group-IB acceptors (Cu, Ag, and Au) influences the photoluminescence spectra of the films as well as their electrical properties.
