Deep-time organizations: Learning institutional longevity from history

This chapter argues for the need to construct a diversified system for the future development of Malaysian higher education in the era of massification. In the first section, the chapter explores the concept of differentiation in the field of higher education, which is followed by exploring the ways in which Malaysian institutions are differentiated and the extent to which the Malaysian higher education system is diversified. With the understanding of differentiation and diversity, the chapter concludes by discussing possible ways in which Malaysian universities can further differentiate themselves, in view of the competition and need to survive in the era of massification and a universal higher education system.

Cruise missile can be classified as a smart bomb and also Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) due to its ability to move and manoeuvre by itself without a pilot Cruise missile flies in constant velocity in cruising stage Malaysia is one of the consumers of cruise missiles that are imported from other nations, which can have distinct geographic factors including their local terrains compared to Malaysia Some of the aerodynamic performances of missile such as drag and lift coefficients can be affected by the local geographic conditions in Malaysia, which is different from the origin nation Therefore, a detailed study must be done to get aerodynamic performance of cruise missiles that operate in Malaysia The effect of aerodynamic angles such as angle of attack and side slip can be used to investigate the aerodynamic performances of cruise missile Hence, subsonic wind tunnel testings were conducted to obtain the aerodynamic performances of the missile at various angle of attack and sideslip angles Smoke visualization was also performed to visualize the behaviour of flow separation The optimum angle of attack found was at α=21° and side slip, β=10° for optimum pitching and yawing motion of cruise missile

Aerodynamic performances of cruise missile flying above local terrain

The present study begins by surveying, broadly supports the assertion that technology, trade, sustainability and development-led globalization is the path in the Chinese context not adequately paid to attention except with very few original or significant contributions. This research examines the existing pattern in the areas of trade, technology, investment with a view to locate in the development context in the era of globalization. This study also investigates theories of trade, technology movement under capitalist paradigm along with the empirical one. The survey broadly supports the frequent, through usually undocumented, assertion that China’s socialist market paradigm was not different from the capitalist mode of production as tended to neglect and to which they had made few if any original or significant contributions. Alongside, this study used secondary data and analyzed, where the results confirmed that foreign direct investment (FDI), trade and economic growth indicated the presence of long-run sustainable equilibrium relationship between them but created income inequality gap widely among people. It is, thus, important for policymakers to remove obstacles and improve the respective absorptive capacity in order to reap maximized positive inclusive development with equality basis.
