Inhibition of organic mechanochemical synthesis by water vapor
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of water on mechanochemical synthesis in the glycine-malonic acid system has been studied in different types of devices, including impact and shear devices and in devices providing both action modes.

A HF Loaded Lewis-Acidic Aluminium Chlorofluoride for Hydrofluorination Reactions.
Maëva-Charlotte Kervarec,Erhard Kemnitz,Gudrun Scholz,Svemir Rudić,Thomas Braun,Christian Jäger,Adam A. L. Michalchuk,Franziska Emmerling +7 more
TL;DR: The interaction between the surface of the catalyst and HF was investigated using a variety of characterization methods, which revealed the formation of polyfluorides in the very strong Lewis acid aluminium chlorofluoride loaded with anhydrous HF.
