Selective catalytic oxidation of cyclohexylbenzene to cyclohexylbenzene-1-hydroperoxide: a coproduct-free route to phenol

TL;DR: The use of NHPI increases the selectivity for initial H-abstraction from the 1-position, vs the other positions in the cyclohexyl ring, suppresses byproduct formation via transannular hydrogen abstraction and increases the overall rate of reaction.

Method for producing aromatic alcohols, especially phenol

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the production of phenol derivatives by performing catalytic oxidation of an aromatic hydrocarbon to obtain a hydroperoxide and subsequently cleaving the polyphenol derivatives into a phenol derivative and a ketone in the presence of a radical starter was described.

Method for oxidizing hydrocarbons

TL;DR: In this article, a method for oxidizing substrates such as hydrocarbons, waxes or soot was proposed, which involves the use of a compound of formula (I) in which: R?1 and R2? represent H, an aliphatic or aromatic alkoxy radical, carboxyl radical, alkoxy carbonyl radical or hydrocarbon radical, each having 1 to 20 hydrocarbon atoms, SO?3?H, NH2, OH, F, Cl, Br, I and/or NO2, whereby R? 1 and R

Juliá-Colonna Asymmetric Epoxidation in a Continuously Operated Chemzyme Membrane Reactor

TL;DR: In this article, two soluble polymer-bound oligo-L-leucines 2 and 5 were used as catalysts for the continuously operated asymmetric epoxidation of chalcone.

Method for producing functionalised oligomeric silsesquioxanes and the use of the same

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for producing functionalised oligomeric silsesquioxanes by reacting partially condensed OLSs with alkoxysilanes is described. But this method is not suitable for the use of the same for further derivatisations.
