Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, crystal structure, spectroscopic, magnetic, theoretical, and microbiological studies of a nickel(II) complex of L-tyrosine and imidazole, [Ni(Im)2(L-tyr)2]·4H2O.

TL;DR: The biological activity of the complexes has been tested for antifungal and antibacterial effects against Aspergillus flavus, Fusarium solani, Penicillium verrucosu, Bacillus subtilis, Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas fluorescens, and Escherichia coli.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic and structural studies of chromate ions in zinc complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine. Analysis of the lowest triplet states in the CrO42− entity

TL;DR: In this article, two novel complexes of Zn(II) chromate with 2,2′-bipyridine have been synthesized: [Zn(bpy)3]CrO4·7.5H2O (1) and catena-(μ-CrO 4-O,O′)[Zn (bpy)(H 2O)2]·2 H2O(2).
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal–organic framework in an L-arginine copper(II) ion polymer: structure, properties, theoretical studies and microbiological activity

TL;DR: In this article, a polymeric copper(II) complex with L-arginine and a linear bridged 4,4′-bipyridine with a formula of {[Cu(L-Arg)2(μ-4,4-bpy)]Cl2·3H2O}∞ (1) was synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polymeric Zn(II) and Cu(II) complexes with exobidentate bridging l-tyrosine: Synthesis, structural and spectroscopic properties

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel zinc(II) polymeric complex of the formula {[Zn(tyr)2(H2O)]H 2O}n (1) containing l -tyrosine (tyr), was prepared in the crystalline form and characterized by X-ray diffraction, NIR-Vis-UV electronic and IR-FIR vibrational spectroscopy methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

l-Tyrosinatonickel(II) Complex: Synthesis and Structural, Spectroscopic, Magnetic, and Biological Properties of 2{[Ni(l-Tyr)2(bpy)]}·3H2O·CH3OH

TL;DR: The complex 2{[Ni(L-Tyr)2(bpy)]}·3H2O·CH3OH [1, where L-tyr = L-tyrosine; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine (2, 2'-bpy], obtained in crystalline form and characterized by X-ray and spectroscopic and magnetic methods, revealed the occurrence of hydrogen-bonded metal pairs.
