The Race To Replace Tin-Doped Indium Oxide: Which Material Will Win?
Akshay Kumar,Chongwu Zhou +1 more
TL;DR: The search for materials that can replace tin-doped indium oxide as the leading transparent conductive electrode (TCE) has intensified significantly in the past few years, motivated by the ever-increasing price of indium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Uniform, highly conductive, and patterned transparent films of a percolating silver nanowire network on rigid and flexible substrates using a dry transfer technique
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used vacuum filtration and a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-assisted transfer printing technique to fabricate silver nanowire films on both rigid and flexible substrates, bringing advantages such as the capability of patterned transfer, the best performance among various ITO alternatives, and good adhesion to the underlying substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Large scale, highly conductive and patterned transparent films of silver nanowires on arbitrary substrates and their application in touch screens
TL;DR: This paper demonstrates the application of a simple spray coating technique to obtain large scale, highly uniform and conductive silver nanowire films on arbitrary substrates and integrated a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-assisted contact transfer technique with spray coating, which allowed for large scale high quality patterned films ofsilver nanowires.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, Transfer, and Devices of Single- and Few-Layer Graphene by Chemical Vapor Deposition
TL;DR: In this article, a simple, scalable, and cost-efficient method to prepare graphene using methane-based CVD on nickel films deposited over complete Si/SiO2 wafers was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth of Aligned Single-Crystalline Rutile TiO2 Nanowires on Arbitrary Substrates and Their Application in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
TL;DR: In this article, single-crystalline rutile phase TiO2 nanowires were synthesized on arbitrary substrates, including fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO), glass slides, tin doped indium oxide (ITO), Si/SiO2, Si(100), Si(111), and glass rods.
