Journal ArticleDOI
Assembly and Crystal Structure of a Photoactive Array of Five Porphyrins
Journal ArticleDOI
A new phenanthrene with a spirolactone from Dendrobium chrysanthum and its anti-inflammatory activities.
Li Yang,Lin-Hua Qin,S. W. Annie Bligh,Alan Bashall,Chaofeng Zhang,Mian Zhang,Zhengtao Wang,Zhengtao Wang,Luo-Shan Xu +8 more
TL;DR: The isolation of a new phenanthrene derivative with a spirolactone ring, dendrochrysanene (1), that proved to suppress the mRNA level of TNF-alpha, IL8, IL10, and iNOS in murine peritoneal macrophages.
Journal ArticleDOI
Templating and Selection in the Formation of Macrocycles Containing [{P(μ‐NtBu)2}(μ‐NH)]n Frameworks: Observation of Halide Ion Coordination
Alan Bashall,Andrew D. Bond,Emma L. Doyle,Felipe García,Sara J. Kidd,Gavin T. Lawson,Mark C. Parry,Mary McPartlin,Anthony D. Woods,Dominic S. Wright +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, NMR spectroscopic studies of the reaction of 1 with 2 in THF/Et(3)N show that almost quantitative formation of the cyclic tetramer [[P(micro-NtBu)](2)(micro-NH)](4) (3) occurs.
Journal ArticleDOI
The tetrameric macrocycle [{P(μ-NtBu)}2NH]4
Alan Bashall,Emma L. Doyle,Catherine Tubb,Sara J. Kidd,Mary McPartlin,Anthony D. Woods,Dominic S. Wright +6 more
TL;DR: The tetrameric macrocycle [{P(μ-NtBu)}2NH]43 (67%) was constructed by the 1∶1 reaction of symmetrical dimers as mentioned in this paper.
