Journal ArticleDOI

Use of Buffering and Other Means to Improve Results of Problematic Pesticides in a Fast and Easy Method for Residue Analysis of Fruits and Vegetables

TL;DR: Independent of the original sample pH, the use of buffering during the extraction yields pH <4 in the MeCN extract and >5 in the water phase, which increases recoveries of both acid- and base-sensitive pesticides.
Journal ArticleDOI

New method for the analysis of flukicide and other anthelmintic residues in bovine milk and liver using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry

TL;DR: A liquid chromatographic-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS/MS) multi-residue method for the simultaneous quantification and identification of 38 residues of the most widely used anthelmintic veterinary drugs in milk and liver has been developed and validated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ruggedness testing and validation of a practical analytical method for >100 veterinary drug residues in bovine muscle by ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry

TL;DR: Optimization, extension, and validation of a streamlined, qualitative and quantitative multiclass, multiresidue method to monitor >100 veterinary drug residues in meat using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry found end-capped C18 and post-column infusion of ammonium formate as an ionization enhancer for the late-eluting anthelmintics were found to give improved qualitative results for greater analytical scope.
Journal ArticleDOI

Streamlining methodology for the multiresidue analysis of β-lactam antibiotics in bovine kidney using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry

TL;DR: A previously reported multiresidue method for the analysis of 11 important beta-lactams in bovine kidney has been further streamlined and methanol has been eliminated from the entire method, including the LC-MS/MS analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-analyst, multi-matrix performance of the QuEChERS approach for pesticide residues in foods and feeds using HPLC/MS/MS analysis with different calibration techniques.

TL;DR: In this article, three different calibration approaches were applied in HPLC/MS/MS using electrospray ionization for the determination of 14 diverse pesticide residues at different levels in a variety of food matrixes.
