Benefit of Early Revascularization Based on Inducible Ischemia and Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction.
Alan Rozanski,Robert J.H. Miller,Heidi Gransar,Donghee Han,Piotr Slomka,Damini Dey,Sean W. Hayes,John D. Friedman,E. Thomson,Daniel S. Berman +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the relationship between stress-induced myocardial ischemia, revascularization, and all-cause mortality among patients with normal vs low LVEF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic accuracy of B-natriuretic peptide measurements and coronary artery calcium in asymptomatic subjects (from the Early Identification of Subclinical Atherosclerosis by Noninvasive Imaging Research [EISNER] study).
Leslee J. Shaw,Donna M. Polk,Torry A. Kahute,Nathan D. Wong,Joanna Moon,Romalisa Miranda-Peats,Alan Rozanski,John D. Friedman,Sean W. Hayes,Louise Thomson,Daniel S. Berman +10 more
TL;DR: B-type natriuretic peptide and CAC are independently predictive of CV events in patients with hypertension and in elderly patients beyond the Framingham risk score, in conclusion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Do patient data ever exceed the partial volume limit in gated SPECT studies
Kenneth Nichols,Kenneth Nichols,E. Gordon DePuey,E. Gordon DePuey,Marvin I. Friedman,Marvin I. Friedman,Alan Rozanski,Alan Rozanski +7 more
TL;DR: No convincing evidence was found of thickness above the partial volume limit in this large sample of 75 normotensive and 25 hypertensive patients, suggesting that relations between myocardial count increases and wall thickening are similar throughout the cardiac cycle, even in patients with left ventricular hypertrophy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thallium-201 stress redistribution abnormalities of the right ventricle: A manifestation of proximal right coronary artery stenosis
Michael B. Brachman,Alan Rozanski,Yzhar Charuzi,Jamshid Maddahi,Alan D. Waxman,Daniel S. Berman +5 more
TL;DR: The appearance of the free right ventricular wall on thallium imaging may provide useful additional information regarding presence and location of right coronary artery stenosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exercise as Medical Treatment for Depression
TL;DR: Empirical study has demonstrated a proportional relationship between the severity of depressive symptoms and the likelihood of subsequent cardiovascular disease.
