Nanostructured Ni-containing spinel oxides for the dry reforming of methane: Effect of the presence of cobalt and nickel on the deactivation behaviour of catalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, a nanocasting method was used to obtain Ni-containing spinel oxide catalysts for dry reforming of methane and showed that NiCo (Coo and Nio dispersed on NiAl2O4) and NiAl (Nio dispersed on Ni2O 4 ) were highly active for CH4 conversion, whereas NiAl dispersed on either Fe3O4-Co3O 4 or CeO2-NiAl2 O 4 provided a lower catalytic performance due to active phase degradation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Titanate nanotubes as acid catalysts for acetalization of glycerol with acetone: Influence of the synthesis time and the role of structure on the catalytic performance

TL;DR: A series of titanate nanotubes (TNTs) have been prepared by a simple hydrothermal procedure (e.g., sodic and protonic TNTs) and investigations on the influence of the material type as well as the synthesis time conditions were examined as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study on the modification of mesoporous mixed oxides supports for dry reforming of methane by Pt or Ru

TL;DR: In this article, the performance and stability of mesoporous mixed oxides supports with solutions of Pt or Ru compounds were evaluated in dry reforming of methane, and the catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms, temperature programmed reduction (TPR), High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM) analyses and Raman spectroscopy.
