Alex Dranovsky,Inez Vincent,Luisa Gregori,Alexander L. Schwarzman,David E. Colflesh,Jan J. Enghild,Warren J. Strittmatter,Peter Davies,Dmitry Goldgaber +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that phosphorylation of nucleolin by Cdc2 kinase generates the TG-3 epitope, which is a critical event and the point of convergence of two distinct pathways, mitosis and neurodegeneration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brief Report: Apolipoprotein E ϵ4 allele does not correlate with amyloid plaques in transmissible spongiform encephalopathies
TL;DR: It is concluded that in transmissible spongiform encephalopathies, apolipoprotein E4 does not seem to contribute to the formation of amyloid plaques.
