Total Top-Quark Pair-Production Cross Section at Hadron Colliders Through O ( α S 4 )
TL;DR: The result derived in this Letter completes the set of NNLO QCD corrections to the total top pair-production cross section at hadron colliders and allows a new level of scrutiny in parton distribution functions and new physics searches.
Journal ArticleDOI
Top++: a program for the calculation of the top-pair cross-section at hadron colliders
Michal Czakon,Alexander Mitov +1 more
TL;DR: The program Top++ calculates the cross-section in (a) fixed order approach with exact next-to-next-to leading order (NNLO) accuracy and (b) by including soft-gluon resummation for the hadronic cross- section in Mellin space with full next- to-next -to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Top-pair production at hadron colliders with next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic soft-gluon resummation
Matteo Cacciari,Matteo Cacciari,Michal Czakon,Michelangelo L. Mangano,Alexander Mitov,Paolo Nason,Paolo Nason +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, soft-gluon corrections to the total t t ¯ cross-section at hadron colliders at the next to next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) order were performed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Estimate of B(B̄→X s γ) at O(α s 2 )
M. Misiak,M. Misiak,Hrachia M. Asatrian,K. Bieri,Michal Czakon,Andrzej Czarnecki,T. Ewerth,Andrea Ferroglia,Paolo Gambino,Martin Gorbahn,Christoph Greub,Ulrich Haisch,A. Hovhannisyan,Tobias Hurth,Tobias Hurth,Alexander Mitov,V. Poghosyan,M. Ślusarczyk,Matthias Steinhauser +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the branching ratio at the next-next-to-leading order in QCD was estimated for the weak radiative $B$-meson decay in the rest frame.
Journal ArticleDOI
Percent-level-precision physics at the Tevatron: next-to-next-to-leading order QCD corrections to qq¯→tt¯+X.
TL;DR: This is the first ever next-to-next- to-leading order calculation of an observable with more than two colored partons and/or massive fermions at hadron colliders, and it is expected that once all subdominant partonic reactions are accounted for, the perturbative theoretical uncertainty for this observable could drop below ±2%.
