Preparation of Diazo Phenyl Sulfides. Kinetics and Mechanism of the Diazo Coupling Reaction of p-Nitrobenzenediazo Phenyl Sulfide with β-Naphthol under Various Conditions

TL;DR: In this paper, a kinetic study of the diazo coupling reaction of p-nitrobenzenediazo phenyl sulfide with β-naphthol under various conditions revealed that the reaction is of first order kinetics with respect to the diazotised arylamines and thiophenol, and that the rate of coupling measured colorimetrically is influenced by the hydrogen ion concentration and by the ionising power of the medium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microdetermination of Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ag, Cd, Hg, Pb, Bi and U in inorganic and organometallic compounds with morpholinium morpholine-N-dithiocarboxylate

TL;DR: Simple, accurate and relatively rapid procedures for the gravimetric and titrimetric microdetermination of these metals in inorganic and organometallic compounds are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microdetermination of metals in organometallic compounds by the oxine method after oxygen flask combustion

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple, accurate, and relatively rapid procedure for the estimation of cadmium, magnesium, uranium, and zinc in organometallic compounds is presented; the oxygen-filled flask is recommended for decomposition of the organic sample.
Journal ArticleDOI

Individual microdetermination of chlorine, bromine and iodine in halogenated organic compounds by the oxygen-flask method.

TL;DR: A simple and accurate micro-method for the individual determination of Cl, Br and I in halogenated organic compounds by the oxygen-flask method is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microdetermination of metals in organometallic compounds by the oxine method after oxygen flask combustion: II. Cobalt, manganese, and titanium

TL;DR: In this paper, the micro determination of metals in organometallic compounds by the oxine method after the oxygen flask combustion was used for cobalt, manganese, and titanium.
