Nonlinear free vibration and post-buckling analysis of functionally graded beams on nonlinear elastic foundation

TL;DR: In this paper, simple analytical expressions are presented for large amplitude free vibration and postbuckling analysis of functionally graded beams rest on nonlinear elastic foundation subjected to axial force, where Euler-Bernoulli assumptions together with Von Karman's strain displacement relation are employed to derive the governing partial differential equation of motion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three hybrid intelligent models in estimating flyrock distance resulting from blasting

TL;DR: Although all predictive models are able to approximate flyrock, PSO–ANN predictive model can perform better compared to others, and sensitivity analysis shows that hole diameter is more effective than others.
Journal Article

Zinc is an Essential Element for Male Fertility: A Review of Zn Roles in Men's Health, Germination, Sperm Quality, and Fertilization.

TL;DR: This review explained the physiological and pathogenesis roles of zinc in men’s health and its potentials in germination, quality of sperm, and fertilization and found that Zn microelement is very essential for male fertility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermo-mechanical buckling and nonlinear free vibration analysis of functionally graded beams on nonlinear elastic foundation

TL;DR: In this article, a nonlinear governing partial differential equation (PDE) of motion is derived based on Euler-Bernoulli assumptions together with Von Karman strain-displacement relation.
Journal ArticleDOI

BD PuraMatrix peptide hydrogel as a culture system for human fetal Schwann cells in spinal cord regeneration

TL;DR: Immunohistochemical analysis of grafted lumber segments at 8 weeks after grafting revealed reduced asterogliosis and considerably increased infiltration of endogenous S100+ cells into the injury site, suggesting that PuraMatrix may play an important role in the repair observed after SAPNS and human fetal SC transplantation.
