Testing the equality of dependent intraclass correlation coefficients
Allan Donner,Guangyong Zou +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a procedure for testing the equality of dependent intraclass correlation co-efficients computed from the same sample of subjects is developed and evaluated, and it is demonstrated that an extended test procedure based on a normalizing and variance stabilizing transformation of the intra-class correlation coefficient developed by Konishi has consistently greater power than a procedure based based on Fisher's classical Z-transformation and also has power which is comparable with that of the likelihood ratio test.

The Pittsburgh randomized trial of tacrolimus compared to cyclosporine for hepatic transplantation.
John J. Fung,Michael Eliasziw,Satoru Todo,Ashok Jain,Anthony J. Demetris,John McMichael,Thomas E. Starzl,Paul Meier,Allan Donner +8 more
TL;DR: Patients randomized to the tacrolimus arm were less likely to experience acute rejection than were those receiving cyclosporine, with patients showing freedom from rejection at one year (p = 0.003, likelihood ratio test).
Journal ArticleDOI
Sample size requirements for stratified cluster randomization designs
TL;DR: In this article, sample size requirements are provided for designs of studies in which clusters are randomized within each of several strata, where cluster size itself may be a stratifying factor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relation of exercise to the recurrence rate of myocardial infarction in men: Ontario exercise-heart collaborative study
Peter A. Rechnitzer,David Cunningham,George M. Andrew,Carol Buck,Norman L. Jones,Terence Kavanagh,Neil Oldridge,John O. Parker,Roy J. Shephard,John Sutton,Allan Donner +10 more
TL;DR: The Ontario Exercise-Heart Collaborative Study was a multicenter randomized clinical trial of high Intensity exercise for the prevention of recurrent myocardial infarction in men.
