High Electron Mobility in Ladder Polymer Field-Effect Transistors

TL;DR: These results demonstrate that electron transport can be as facile as hole transport in conjugated polymer semiconductors and that ladder architecture of a conjugation polymer can substantially enhance charge carrier mobility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanofibers of Conjugated Polymers Prepared by Electrospinning with a Two‐Capillary Spinneret

TL;DR: In this paper, it was demonstrated that the nanofibers can be fabricated by co-electrospinning the solutions of conjugated polymers with a spinnable matrix polymer solution and the morphology and diameters of the resulting fibers can be controlled by adjusting the processing parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrospun Nanofibers of Blends of Conjugated Polymers: Morphology, Optical Properties, and Field-Effect Transistors

TL;DR: In this article, two series of binary blends of poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexoxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH−PPV) with regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (PHT) and with poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene)(PFO) were prepared, and their morphology and optical and electrical properties were characterized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alkyl chain length dependence of the field-effect carrier mobility in regioregular poly(3-alkylthiophene)s

TL;DR: In this article, the field effect mobility of holes in regioregular poly(3-alkylthiophene)s was determined for a series of 5 alkyl chain lengths from C 4 ( n -butyl) to C 12 (n -dodecyl).
