Amine loaded zeolites for carbon dioxide capture: Amine loading and adsorption studies
Ravikrishna V. Chatti,Amit Bansiwal,Jayashri A. Thote,Vivek Kumar,Pravin Jadhav,Satish K. Lokhande,Rajesh B. Biniwale,Nitin Labhsetwar,Sadhana Rayalu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, various primary and secondary amines namely monoethanolamine (MEA), ethylenediamine (ED), and isopropanol amine (IPA) have been immobilized on synthetic zeolite 13X and quantitative estimations of the amine loadings were undertaken using different analytical techniques namely titrimetric, total organic carbon and gas chromatography analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Equilibrium isotherm and kinetic modeling of the adsorption of nitrates by anion exchange Indion NSSR resin
Sachin N Milmile,Jayshree Pande,Shilpi Karmakar,Amit Bansiwal,Tapan Chakrabarti,Rajesh B. Biniwale +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors described the adsorption capacity of ion exchange Indion NSSR resin for removal of nitrates from aqueous solution and found that the maximum sorption capacity was 119mg/g as per Langmuir isotherm at 35°C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surfactant-modified zeolite as a slow release fertilizer for phosphorus.
TL;DR: Investigation of the feasibility of using surfactant-modified zeolite (SMZ) as a carrier for fertilizer and for slow release of phosphorus (P) indicates that SMZ is a good sorbent for PO4(3-), and aslow release of P was achievable.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of As(III) and As(V) from water by copper oxide incorporated mesoporous alumina.
Pradnya Pillewan,Shrabanti Mukherjee,Tarit Roychowdhury,Sera Das,Amit Bansiwal,Sadhana Rayalu +5 more
TL;DR: Assessment of the water quality before and after treatment with COIMA confirmed that the there is no leaching of copper and other parameters were also within permissible limits of Indian drinking water standard indicating that theCOIMA can be used for treatment of arsenic contaminated drinking water.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fluoride removal using lanthanum incorporated chitosan beads.
TL;DR: The adsorption capacity of LCB was similar in fluoride-contaminated ground water collected from Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, India, as compared to simulated water and regeneration study reveals that 1M ammonium chloride solution appears to be the promising regeneration media showing 81.22% regeneration.
