TL;DR: Although a mild elevation in serum lipase was observed in some patients with COVID-19, clinical acute pancreatitis was not seen and hyperlipasemia was not associated with poor outcomes or symptoms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of FSH receptor deletion on epididymal tubules and sperm morphology, numbers, and motility.
TL;DR: A key role is suggested for the FSH receptor in maintaining Sertoli cells to sustain normal sperm numbers and proper shapes of their heads and tails, which is noticeably altered in FORKO mice.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and Functional Modifications of Sertoli Cells in the Testis of Adult Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Receptor Knockout Mice
TL;DR: Functionally, androgen-binding protein (ABP), a major secretory protein of Sertoli cells, was dramatically reduced in FORKO mice, suggesting that FSH-R signaling normally maintains water balance in SERToli cells in addition to regulating ABP production.
Journal ArticleDOI
