Chaotic salp swarm algorithm for SDN multi-controller networks
Abdelhamied A. Ateya,Abdelhamied A. Ateya,Ammar Muthanna,Ammar Muthanna,Anastasia Vybornova,Abeer D. Algarni,Abdelrahman Abuarqoub,Yevgeni Koucheryavy,Andrey Koucheryavy +8 more
TL;DR: A dynamic optimization algorithm that is based on the Salp Swarm Optimization Algorithm is developed with the introduction of chaotic maps for enhancing the optimizer’s performance and results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms meta-heuristic algorithms and a game theory based algorithm in terms of execution time and reliability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of Intelligent Core Network for Tactile Internet and Future Smart Systems
Abdelhamied A. Ateya,Ammar Muthanna,Irina A. Gudkova,Abdelrahman Abuarqoub,Anastasia Vybornova,Andrey Koucheryavy +5 more
TL;DR: A Tactile Internet system structure is introduced, which employs software defined networking in the core of the cellular network and mobile edge computing in multi-levels and introduces a round trip latency of orders of 1 ms.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Multilevel cloud based Tactile Internet system
TL;DR: This paper introduces a novel approach toward a multi-level cloud based cellular system, in which the small cells are connected with micro-cloud units with small capabilities to present the edge computing facilities.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Intelligent core network for Tactile Internet system
TL;DR: A Tactile Internet system structure which employs SDN in the core of the cellular network and mobile edge computing (MEC) in multi-levels is introduced which introduces a round trip latency of orders of 1 ms.

Energy - Aware Offloading Algorithm for Multi-level Cloud Based 5G System
Abdelhamied A. Ateya,Abdelhamied A. Ateya,Ammar Muthanna,Anastasia Vybornova,Pyatkina Darya,Andrey Koucheryavy +5 more
TL;DR: This work provides a latency aware and energy aware offloading algorithm for the 5G multilevel edge computing based cellular system that takes into consideration the energy consumption to handle the service and make the offloading decision that achieves higher energy performance.
