Microbial production of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) and its copolymers: A review of recent advancements.

TL;DR: An overview of various substrates, microorganisms for the economical production of PHAs and its copolymers is provided.
Journal ArticleDOI

Toxic and some essential metals in medicinal plants used in herbal medicines: A case study in Pakistan

TL;DR: In this article, the levels of some heavy metals in eight different medicinal plant samples along with soils were collected from two different locations from salt range of Punjab, Pakistan in order to evaluate those vital metals involved in human health implications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of guar gum based polyurethanes.

TL;DR: Guar gum (GG) was used along with hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) as soft segment, which was then reacted with isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) to form PU pre-polymers as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative study on calcium, magnesium and cobalt in diabetic and non diabetic patients (males) in Punjab, Pakistan

TL;DR: It can be concluded from the study that the diabetic patients of all five age groups are deficient of Ca, Mg, whereas the concentration of Co is higher in diabetic patients.
Journal Article

Synthesis, characterization and biological studies of Bis{μ-2,2'-[N,N'- diylbis (nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato}dicobalt(II) using triple component solvent system

TL;DR: In this paper, two nitrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms of the [N,Nbis( salicylidine)diamine] formed distorted square pyramidal geometry in the region of Co(II) and one oxygen atom from each ligand acting as bridge between two ligand molecules which are distorted in parallel path among each other.
