Antiphospholipid antibody profile based obstetric outcomes of primary antiphospholipid syndrome: the PREGNANTS study.
Gabriele Saccone,Vincenzo Berghella,Giuseppe Maria Maruotti,Tullio Ghi,Giuseppe Rizzo,Giuliana Simonazzi,Nicola Rizzo,Fabio Facchinetti,Andrea Dall'Asta,Silvia Visentin,Laura Sarno,Serena Xodo,Dalila Bernabini,Francesca Monari,Amanda Roman,Ahizechukwu C. Eke,Ariela Hoxha,Amelia Ruffatti,Ewoud Schuit,Pasquale Martinelli +19 more
TL;DR: In women with only 1 positive test result, women with anti‐&bgr;2 glycoprotein‐I positivity present alone had a significantly lower live birth rate and a significantly higher incidence of preeclampsia without, compared with women with multiple antibody positive results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prenatal ultrasound staging system for placenta accreta spectrum disorders.
Giuseppe Calì,F. Forlani,Christoph Lees,Christoph Lees,Christoph Lees,Ilan E. Timor-Tritsch,José M. Palacios-Jaraquemada,Andrea Dall'Asta,Andrea Dall'Asta,Andrea Dall'Asta,Amarnath Bhide,Maria Elena Flacco,Lamberto Manzoli,F. Labate,A. Perino,Giovanni Scambia,Francesco D'Antonio +16 more
TL;DR: To develop a prenatal ultrasound staging system for placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders in women withplacenta previa and to evaluate its association with surgical outcome, placental invasion and the clinical staging system proposed by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO).
Journal ArticleDOI
Calcium supplementation and prevention of preeclampsia: a meta-analysis.
Tito Silvio Patrelli,Andrea Dall'Asta,Salvatore Gizzo,Giuseppe Pedrazzi,Giovanni Piantelli,Valerio M. Jasonni,Alberto Bacchi Modena +6 more
TL;DR: The results of this meta-analysis demonstrate that the additional intake of calcium during pregnancy is an effective measure to reduce the incidence of preeclampsia, especially in populations at high risk of preeClampsia due to ethnicity, gender, age, high BMI and in those with low baseline calcium intake.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early onset fetal growth restriction
Andrea Dall'Asta,Andrea Dall'Asta,V. Brunelli,Federico Prefumo,Tiziana Frusca,Christoph Lees,Christoph Lees,Christoph Lees +7 more
TL;DR: The available evidence regarding diagnosis, management and prognosis of fetuses diagnosed with FGR before 32 weeks of gestation is reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: To assess the role of fetal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting associated anomalies in fetuses presenting with mild or moderate isolated ventriculomegaly undergoing multiplanar ultrasound evaluation of the fetal brain, a diffusion-gauging study is conducted.
