Journal ArticleDOI

Early and late inner retinal changes after inner limiting membrane peeling

TL;DR: The earliest change in the macula after ILM peeling is post-operative swelling of the arcuate retinal nerve fiber layer (SANFL), which disappears within the 3 month; the swelling is not detected on biomicroscopic fundus examination but appears as hypoautofluorescent arcuate striae in themacular region on infrared and autofluorescence imaging, with corresponding hyperreflectant swelling demonstrated on spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Book ChapterDOI

Genetics of Congenital Cataract.

TL;DR: This review highlights the identified genetic mutations that account for congenital nuclear cataract, which is one of the most easily treatable causes of visual impairment and blindness during infancy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intravitreal Bevacizumab for Macular Complications From Retinal Arterial Macroaneurysms

TL;DR: Intravitreal bevacizumab is an effective therapy for complicated RAM, quickly improving BCVA and CRT, and anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs might actively close the involved pathologically permeabilized retinal artery and normalize the vessel wall formation by localized inhibition of VEGF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Congenital Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction (CNLDO): A Review

TL;DR: To alleviate persistent epiphora and mucous drainage that is refractory to probing, repeat probing, silicone tube intubation, balloon catheter dilation or dacryocystorhinostomy can be considered as available treatment options.
