TL;DR: It is widely accepted that about half of heart failure (HF) hospitalizations are a direct consequence of inadequate self-care behavior, and digital and more specifically mHealth, i.e. medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices, could have an important favourable effect in enhancing self- care behaviour in HF.
