Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of hydroxy gas addition on performance and exhaust emissions in variable compression spark ignition engine

TL;DR: In this paper, the results from the experimental study conducted on the engine for compression ratios ranging from 7 to 10 shows a decrease in the total fuel consumption and an increase in brake thermal efficiency due to increase in velocity flame propagation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Novel Linearly Fused 5-Substituted-7-acetyl-2,6-dimethyloxazolo[4,5-f]indoles.

TL;DR: In this paper, the exclusive formation of 1-substitutcd-6-a-oximino-ethylindoles 3a-d from the reaction of 3,6-diacetylindoles with hydroxylamine reveals the chemoselectivity of C 6 -acetyl function over that of C 3 −acetyl functions towards the nucleophilic attack of hydroxyamine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ternary structured magnesium cobalt oxide/graphene/polycarbazole nanohybrids for high performance electrochemical supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this paper , polycarbazole (PCz)/magnesium cobalt oxide (MgCo2O4)/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) based ternary nanocomposite was prepared through in-situ polymerization, and utilized it as an active electrodes for electrochemical energy storage supercapacitor applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of carbon based electrodes on the performance of the microbial fuel cell

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of two chambered microbial fuel cells using graphite blocks, carbon cloth, and graphite sheet was evaluated under anaerobic condition in the anode chamber and parameters were recorded for a period of 48 hours.
